We stayed at Branksome Place from 1-2.02.09 at the £10.00 deal. I did not expect too much considering the price. We were pleasantly surprised, as the room was very nice. The bathroom was in need of a little bit of TLC but otherwise could not fault this stay. We ate the the Swan Inn at Haslemere serves very good quality... more

We paid £10 for this room using the special offer on their website. While we were there we also got a great deal on the evening meal. Having read reviews on here I was a little concerned, but given how little we had paid thought that we would make the most of it. The venue is lovely on approach and... more

I took advantage of the great winter promotional offer at the moment, and i was suprised how nice our room was. We were in stone house in room 352, and it was great value for money and would definately return to de vere venues in the future. As someone previously said, look for value for money, and go in with... more

All the reviews I have read are a mixture. Basically it boils down to ensuring you get a good room...if you don't ask for one (as most of these are in the main building and not in the annexes of Stone and Cedar House) then you should.. Once in a decent room and you accept the weird and wonderful reception... more

Booked the hotel on the morning of the stay for a good rate direct with De Vere. I has driven 6 hours to get here and was looking forward to relaxing! On arrival at reception at around 19.00 I was told there was a problem with my room and they had booked me into somewhere else, the alternative hotel was... more

Like many of the De Vere hotels you get what you pay for. What you get is a perfectly adequately comfortable room with a smallish bed but an overall attempt to make it rather more than it is. Planning a romantic getaway then this is not for you. I have spent qute a bit of time at Branksome Place as... more

Hotel was good value and clean with reasonable quality, buffet-style, food. The room was noisier than I would have expected. The staff were pleasant. more

As mentioned previously this hotel has been spoilt by the dreadful fire escapes and ramps. The interior is meant to be nautical but I felt it was like stepping into a prison with the metal walkways. The bedroom was absolutely tiny. Sloping ceilings and the double bed pushed right up to the wall. Very cramped indeed but extremely clean. The... more

Oh dear, oh dear, What a great shame this hotel is. The original house must have been so elegant in its beautiful grounds. Now, a sad house/hotel with atrocious add ons, from a the flat roofed reception, to the tasteless training suite in the ground's. Fire escapes coming from an original chimney breast at the front of the hotel (it... more

Got a really good deal via the hotel website £30 & £5 a head for breakfast. The hotel is in a stunning location and is a perfect get away. Rooms are beautiful and the bed one of the most comfortable I've snoozed in for a long time. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Didn't eat here but had breakfast which... more
