Eat from the Brasserie Menu - great food nicely presented. We had lamb burgers and steak both were good quality tasted great and amazing chips. The deserts were equally good. I loved the eton mess others had sticky toffee pudding and brownies. Sticky toffee pudding was voted the 'best ever' not too sweet !! Service was excellent pity about the... More

If your looking for a reasonably priced overnight stay, this is the place to go to. Lovely rooms, nice location and great brasserie restaurant. Nothing really to complain about. You get what you pay for.

Had a lovely weekend at the Lythe Hill and Spa. The restaurant was very good - fab choice of dishes, food and setting was excellent. We had a lovely room with a four poster bed, ample of space and nicely decorated. There were however cobwebs and the room needed a better clean. My husband reported the issue and a quick... More

I stayed here last minute on a midweek break for myself and my partner. We arrived on a beautiful autumn morning and headed straight for the spa to maximise our time here. Both reception teams are friendly, polite, down to earth and excellent at their jobs. Nothing is too much trouble. We left the spa after several hours andexcellent massages... More

We've stayed here once before a couple of years ago and decided to stay again for a birthday treat. We'd had a memorable meal last time and a repeat visit to the restaurant was the main reason for staying again. We opted for a standard room on this visit and on arrival it was all ready and spotlessly clean. I... More

My wife and I stayed here on Saturday 18th (very last minute). When we arrived we were provided with a Tudor room (Anne Boleyn) at £165 for the night. Well I’m sorry but the building might be old and protected but that is no excuse to have bedrooms that require a complete refit. The carpet is old and the walls... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times before, but on Saturday night we thought we would treat ourselves with a night away, so I booked a room. The service that we received was very poor and very disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!! When we arrived they had no reference of our booking! Luckily they had a spare room, so we could stay. Then... More

The family descended on Lythe Hill for an anniversary weekend. The location and grounds are superb, the rooms are smart and comfortable, the bar and restaurant are well-stocked and well-managed. We had a special meal in "The Dungeon" and it was excellent. Special thanks go to Jenny and Rebecca (not sure about the correct spelling) in the bar abd restaurant.... More

We had hoped to stay at the hotel, but it was fully booked, but we attended a private lunch party on a Sunday in September. There's a nice bright dining room with a glass roof. The food was good, roast beef and enormous Yorkshire Puddings were delicious and memorable. Quite an achievement for 60 or so people. Staff were polite... More
