Came here for a wedding and it made for a lovely venue. We were in the Garden Room and it was very nice. Drinks were the same as city London prices though - £10 for a rum and coke seems a little bit much for me! Stayed in Paistow Suite and it was nice enough - bed was very comfortable.... More

Booked the Executive double room on bed/breakfast and evening meal rate of £209.00. Had afternoon tea (very tasty) on arrival whilst we waited for the room to be cleaned. The restaurant was being renovated so we were shown to the Garden room; normally the function room. The furniture here had definitely see better days (around 20-30 years ago judging by... More

We were here for a wedding - as guests and members of the wedding party. It was a nice venue, with good food and facilities. Comfy bed, lots of TV choices, wide reaching WiFi (included for a fee) and free parking. Our room's shower head was broken (it wouldn't stay pointed in the direction you wanted) but that was okay... Stayed here around two years ago, and boy has it gone down hill. Our first room on arrival was small and you couldn't open the single wardrobe. We were then offered a free upgrade to Paistow - a suite with issues. Peeling paint and wallpaper, dirt behind the toilet and radiator in the bathroom, the bathroom door handle was sticky... More

Old tired building. .staff are over professional and it comes across as stuck up and boring. .. Rooms are flat with no style ... walked up the corridors and they looks worn and outdated .. its a real shame as the wedding side is AMAZING! !!

We have used this place several times before over a period of in excess of ten years. Its decline is marked, climaxing this year. It has obviously changed hands. One of the staff told me that it is now in the hands of a VC company. There is no General Manager - the F&B Manager is running the place, and... More

We booked this trip through Amazon local deal the hotel rooms were tatty, the food and service in the restaurant were awful the only nice thing was the pool area and the treatments we had in the spa! I felt because we were on the Amazon deal we were given no service and were given a separate menu in the... More

Just stayed one night on special offer from Amazon Local. Lovely place with country setting, rabbits playing in the grass and sounds of bird song from the woods. Excellent food with good service, and good value for money. A truly splendid full English breakfast, fresh kippers were particularly good. The room we were allocated was Bramshott, we thought it was... More

The actual hotel was lovely, as was my room, however it was a business trip and not everyone could say the same. The receptionist was by far the most friendly person in the hotel. Food was average, service average. Great location

I have known the Lythe Hill Hotel for over 20 yrs, as until Tuesday 26th May, I lived locally. The Lythe Hill Hotel has an excellent restaurant & Spa, and the grounds are glorious. The central areas are lack lustre, and my room was tired, with 2 nasty thin rubber pillows. The foyer of the Auberge, has a cheap floor... More
