Booked for one night on my own as I was visiting v family in Haslemere however youngest daughter decided to stay aswell! We had the Shottermill room which was amazing, a large bed, beautiful accessories, very spacious room with seating area and two wardrobes, lovely on suite shower room (no bath). It had a door to a garden terrace area... More

We stated for two nights; when we booked we were surprised how reasonable the B&B rate was so we weren't expecting too much. Our room (Milton) was clean but very small which wouldn't normally be an issue but there were no drawers for clothes and the wardrobe was very small with no shelving. The bathroom again had no usable storage... More

We stayed for two nights. I paid extra for an executive room but had to reject the first one offered as it was too shabby. The second one was very tired and was in need of a refurbishment. We ate in the hotel on both evenings; it was impeccable. We enjoyed the spa and the gym; they've very good, as... More

We stayed in the hotel not out of choice. The hotel we should have stayed in had a leak in one of the rooms and they transferred us here. First look at the hotel I was pleased. Went downhill from there. We were allocated the Bernard shaw room. There was mould everywhere. Peeling paint. Poor quality furniture. Cracked and broken... More

The room was huge, it included a seating area tv wardrobe and dressing tale, coffee making facilities and a queen size bed. Would have liked it a bit softer but that is just me. The on suite was a very large well decorated 4 piece jacuzzi bathroom. Very impressed. The rooms 3 at a time were small bungalows around the... More

What a find this hotel is! Most impressive were the friendly and helpful staff. We paid £65 for a standard double room and full breakfast (delicious) with full use of the spa (even up to 1600 on the day of departure) - what amazing value, must be the best kept secret in Surrey and Sussex. We hope to return soon.

i have been staying at the lythe hill for over 10 years now and felt I owed it a review. Since 2003 when I first stayed here planning my wedding which was held there in 2004 I have stayed and eaten here around 10 times. It has changed a fair bit since 2003 and not all for the best but... More

So we stay here for one night and all I can say it is not a four star hotel! We decided to use the spa for the afternoon and instead of being able to relax and take a swim it was more like the local swimming pool with kids screaming and dive bombing. As you can imagine it was not... More

We just had a fantastic spa day to celebrate my friend's birthday. We had to book late and they were very kind accommodating us at the last minute. Reception was great, we were given towels, robes and slippers. We appreciate that although the spa area does not seem particularly large, and there were other customers enjoying the facilities, it never... More

This hotel is perfect. The room is enormous with a fabulous queen sized bed, beautifully furnished. The food in the restaurant is quite frankly the best I have ever had! We ordered a starter and main but in between we were treated to tasty little 'add on's. The staff are extremely polite, particularly in the restaurant. The restaurant manager is... More
