Everything about the hotel and facilities was very good. A nice room and a classic evening meal. Maybe one slight downside was a poorish breakfast with the various hot dishes running out and the toaster not working. But not such a problem as overall the stay was very good. more

Lythe Hill is set in wonderful grounds but fails on most levels as a four star hotel. Room was contemporary and well appointed but the bathroom was a big disappointment. We've taken advantage of the fab Sunday rate twice over the last month and had very relaxing stays. The pool, sauna and steam room are terrific-just wish they would warn you that there is a wateraerobics session Monday evening so you can plan earlier swim before dinner.The rooms were comfy and clean if a bit noisy in the old building.... more
