I've booked for a room closed to town centre for 55 pounds/night, but I didn't find anything of these. She has changed the price and the place when we arrived. I don't reccomend it!! Furthermore, I should pay also bus or taxi from the home to town centre (more than 2 pound for each one, one way!!!). more

My wife any I just returned from an overnight stay at Hill Place. We were greeted in a very friendly way and shown to our room which was well-furnished and spotlessly clean. We had an en-suite with a view from the bathroom which was delightful. Breakfast was continental-style in the well-equipped kitchen with a garden room for dining - again... more

After the B&B garantueed us a parking spot, we booked it. When we arrived.. no parking available. We had to park our car on the street (pay parking) where you could park max. 3 hrs. Not exactly convenient when you want to go to London for a day! Besides this, it was not really clean; some hairs on the beds,... more

This was not an enjoyable stay, no effort made by hosts to ensure fresh towels, toilet paper in on suites. There are 4 glasses in the guest house and not enough plates for all guests when full up. Kitchen was not clean and discounts discussed must be given in writing. Communal bathroom was not in a fit state to use... more

I stayed with my wife in this short-term accommodation house. We found the place to be very clean and nice. Our room had a balcony from which we could enjoy the view of the beautiful Guildford's sky and the sunset. The curtains were lovely, as the room was comfy and gorgeous, perfect for our romantic occasion. The bed was so... more

This place is perfect if you want to be in the town centre. It has recently been refurbished and has parkett flooring in all the bedrooms, as well as really comfortable beds. It is rented mainly on a weekly basis so is perfect for people like me who work occasionally Mon-Fri in the area. Best thing is you can cook... more

We stayed here for two nights with 4 other friends, visiting Guildford for a friend's wedding. First impressions were good - a lovely looking house in a nice area of Guildford near the town centre, with views over the town and the cathedral. Lots of steps from the road down to the front door, so not good if you're less... more

This B&B has now been totally renovated. Each room has an exceptionally comfortable mahogany sleigh bed. Parket flooring is used throughout the bedrooms. The breakfast area and main hallway is now tiled. The only carpet remaining is on the stairs and upstairs hallway and this carpet is brand new. Fully functioning smoke detectors are, of course, fitted upstairs and downstairs...
