There are not that many hotels in Guildford, but there are quite a few businesses in that town. The Travelodge seems to be one of the only decently priced (less than 150 euro per night) hotels in town and close to the surrey research park. Hotel was clean and warm. We had a good sized family room for two - at a £30 rate which I felt was value for money. Just no frills at all. No complaints either. We ate out in town, so not able to comment on food. more

Expensive for what you get. More than 101 EUR (81.25 GPB) for a terrible mattress, 6.75 GPB for a mediocre breakfast. Good for one night is you can charge invoice to your company. more

It does what you expect. Good car park. Clean hotel & rooms. Bar and food on site - which is handy as, although they are rather bland, they feel a bit safer than the pubs in town on a Saturday.
