I am currently staying in a 'family room with 4 people - a double and two extra foldable beds. Knowing that these mattresses have been used many times, expect the mattress to be somewhat cushiony. The good pointers are that it's bright a room, relatively quiet despite having a window view of two fan units. As I lie here on... More

Expectations definitely exceeded - very comfortable and quiet room (it was a Saturday) in immaculate condition. Very friendly service and a pleasant breakfast - not a huge choice, but we didn't expect one and it was all very nice. Also a very attractive walk along the Wey from the railway station.

This is a budget hotel and the amenities are as basic as you can get. The building is not well maintained, with numerous stains on the carpet and damaged shelves and walls. The door from the lobby area to the guest room hallway obviously had been kicked in at one point and had been hastily repaired. There was no hair... More

What can you say. Clean, decent bed, decent shower, stayed in a twin room. Rated 5* because we were not looking for nor looking to pay for a luxury hotel. This place is modern, serves you a beer if you want it, and provides clean and very simple accommodation at very good rates (45 for 2 of us in Guildford).... More

I've stayed in a dozen Travelodges now and I had high hopes when I rolled up to this one, but guys, you let me down. It's all primped up outside but nowhere near as good as the Travelodge in, say, Sheffield inside. I just didn't feel relaxed. First of all there was the scrum for the carpark which made me... More

First time i have left a bad review for any company but this stay was horendous. The staff were not helpful, the bedroom was basic with the TV only displaying 4 channels! The room was extremely hot and stuffy, i had to open the window however there is a main railway line running behind the hotel with trains passing every... More

I was very skeptical when I booked this hotel.. And I was right. This hotel is very noisy I can hear the gym next door! And room itself had a heavily stained hand towel. Hair on the bed and stained pillow case. Staffs were friendly, they changed my towel ASAP after I complained. Bathroom's shower curtain is also stained. Bathroom... More

Stayed here one night over Easter Holidays. Hotel had good parking facilities which was displayed as maximum 3 hours but was free to hotel guests. Staff were friendly on arrival and room was what you come to expect with Travelodges - basic & clean-ish. TV was confusing to know what channel I was watching as it didn't run in the... More

My mother and I came on a trip to Guildford to visit family. On arriving at the Travelodge, I noticed the car park was just chaos. It was tight and there was no spaces available at all. Many people were just sat waiting to find one. We found out later that the car park is shared with a Gym next... More

Had to wait to check in, which is frustrating as there was no way of getting anyone's attention. However, the lady who did check us in was friendly and helpful, so can't fault her. The room is shabby and average, as with most Travelodges. This stay would have been 3 stars, if it wasn't for apparent building work starting at... More
