I only needed few minutes in Plaegan House for being sure that this place would be my first option every night that I need to overnight in Guildford. In a quite location of Guildford, with plenty of spaces for parking the car, extremly clean, beds very comfortable, just five minutes downhill to the Station and to the City Center (Warning:... More

I have stayed in the twin room at the front of the house and the double at the rear overlooking the pretty garden, both great rooms but as a preference would choose the rear double, for the supremely comfortable bed and aspect over the garden. Clean, comfortable and close (10 min walk) to town and station, feels like the countryside... More

Stayed here for one night last minute booking and what a lovely surprise ! The landlady was ever so welcoming, showed me to the room, which was very nice, extremely clean and spacious. I didn't have the breakfast but took advantage of the cereals in my room for a £1.00. With fresh cold milk out of the fridge in your... More

Very convenient location close to the station and the town centre in a quiet residential street. Owner remained calm and friendly throughout... despite one of the other guests loosing her car keys in the drain! Our room was large, clean with attractive and modern furnishings. It had a lovely view out over the garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay... More

I stayed here in September 2013 in a triple room at the front, with my 2 grown-up daughters, on the way back to university in Surrey. It was a great little find. Such a pleasant experience from start to finish. Every consideration is made regarding your comfort and convenience and it made us feel very special. The house is immaculately... More

Members of my family stayed at this Guildford bed & breakfast, back in April 2013. They found Roxanne's hosting to be flawless and also found their night's room to be very spacious, clean and bright. Stayed in a double room at the rear of the property and found it to have spectacular views over lovely sculptured gardens and views towards... More

This B&B was stunning. The location was convenient, but very tranquil. Everything is very clean and comfortable, and the rooms and bathrooms are very nice. The breakfast is simply delicious and the variety is wonderful. The lady who runs it, Roxanne, is lovely and extremely helpful and made us feel comfortable right away. She has an adorable cat as well,... More

Stayed here one night in a rear-facing twin room. Absolutely everything was provided in the large room from a torch to a pair of binoculars on the windowsill so you could check out the birds etc in the garden and park beyond. Two comfortable armchairs and table, plus mini self-catering area with a mictrowave and a fridge containing fresh milk... More
