After checking this site for other reviews my expectations were not high. On arrival at this hotel I was greeted by a collection of Polish transients who were standing in the entrance, keenly watching people use the ATM machine opposite the hotel. As soon as I entered the reception I could see how this stay was going to turn out.... more

This is a filthy hotel. Very dirty rooms, broken doors, disgusting chair and beds. Very poor and possibly dangerous power installation in the bath room. Old food on the stairs. I could continue for hours. The staff was nice but the hotel it self is old, filthy and way too expensive compared to the quality. Not recommendable. more

This place is terrible. Booked for myself and a co worker for business purposes by a hotel agent - we paid £105 and £115 each (his room was a twin) The whole hotel is a mess - carpets loose and worn out - inches of dust in the corners of all the corridors. My room was tiny with a single... more

This hotel's website 100% misrepresents the truth. Booked in for 2 nights and left after 1. Whilst the sheets and towels were clean nothing else was. The carpet was dirty and hadn't been hoovered, but worst of all was the bathroom, cracked sink with grime ingrained, black mould between all the tiles and around the bath, filthy toilet pan, dirty... more

Where do you start with a place like this? First of all, the rooms are the smallest ever - basically a box room with a single bed. They look like they last saw a lick of paint somewhere in the mid 1970s. Paint was peeling off the ceiling and the general decor was utterly depressing. Dark and dingy. Same story... more

I stayed in Room 21; the hotel was booked for me by a supplier and, having read the other reviews, I must have had the best room! Sure, the entrance, stairways and dining room carpets and décor were dire - very dire indeed, but my room was huge and modern. Good points of the room: Great new bathroom area (wet... more

I stayed for a 3-night business trip in a single non-smoking room. The lobby, breakfast room and Sports Bar were very dark and battered, but the room was ok. The paint was coming off the walls in the bath-room in two small places, but they have a heated mirror which does not steam up while showering. The towels were exceedingly... more

I had planned to stay here for 6 nights but moved out after one. My supposedly 'executive room' was cramped and dark. The shower didn't work and one of the washbasin taps didn't work. Stair carpets dirty and torn. Dining room carpets looked filthy. Breakfast room bleak, breakfast basic. All in all, best avoided. Al. more

I really didn't like this hotel. The rooms are small, mould was growing through the damp parts of the (smelly) room. The sheets I had were not very clean and they rested on a mattress that had clearly seen better days. Staff were not particully helpdful or pleasent (service with a snarl). I wonder whether the owners really want to... more

Stayed here on business in the summer. Had a single room. Room was very small. Both the room and the bathroom had mould. Bed was old. Being the summer the room was very hot so you have to have the windows open. My room was on the front and deliverys started at 6am. The person I was with had a... more
