My wife and I had stayed at Claremont Cottage in July 2011 so we decided to stay again as we were passing through Dorking en route to Canterbury. Once again we found that this was an excellent B&B and could find no fault with it. Julie gave us a very warm welcome and treated us as friends rather than paying... More

My husband and I stayed here for a week as our home was under reconstruction. Like other reviewers, we were made very welcome by Julie for whom nothing was too much trouble. We had lovely cooked breakfasts, but there was also adequate, cereals, fruit, jams and three sorts of bread to choose from, if Continental is what you prefer. I... More

Comfortable B&B, nice big room with everything you need, tea and coffee making facilities. Easy chairs, TV, wi-fi. En-suite with bath and shower, toiletries provided. Ideally situated for the town centre a few minutes walk away and far enough from town for it to be very quiet. Dorking has plenty of good restaurants across all price ranges.Julie provided lots of... Julie. Dahn yoga guru. Brings the peace and focus of the ultimate yoga mind to b&b. Balanced. Wholistic. Comfy. This B&B is the best ever. And we've stayed in some, I can tell you. Fantastic welcome. Great advice about the environ. And a cooked breakfast that would make Little Chef and his Olympian dreams quiver in the larder. Julie even... More

We stayed here in mid-June for 4 nights. The accommodation we had was clean and tidy, and the owner was meticulous in keeping standards high and consistent. Our room was more like a suite, so large was it and so well furnished. The beds were very comfortable and the aspect outside the window very pleasant, with well tended gardens and... More

This is a cute little B&B - location is excellent as is Julie -a real gem. Nothing is too much trouble and although our room was a little overfull it didn't detract from our stay. Comfortable bed, great breakfast, great shower, parking & free wifi - spotlessly clean . Julie knows exactly what her guests require and expect. What more... More

Claremont Cottage is about ten minutes out of the city centre, with reasonably convenient bus routes. We chose it as it had easy parking, wifi and was well priced. The converted stables are light, bright and warm, the bed comfortable (essential for travelers!) and the bathroom clean and simple. It could do with a bathroom cupboard and some more places... More

We spent a couple of nights here revisisting old haunts around the Surrey Downs, and if Dorking is a superb base, the Claremont Cottage is the icing on that cake. Julie provided a wonderfully homely clean and comfortable place to stay, with a breakfast that shames many 4* hotels for both quality and quantity. Would we stay again? Of course,... More

I booked for somewhere to stay for a family wedding nearby based on the good tripadvisor reviews. Claremont Cottage lived up to expectations, a comfortable room, very good breakfast and great owner Julie who was very friendly, ready to help and had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. It's in a lovely bit of Dorking and a short... More
