From the minute I found this property through a detailed internet search, I knew that this was a place to stay. Who could resist the 'quintessential English style accommodation' that is offered by Leylands Farm? Right from the first initial contact via email with our host, Annie, there was a positive and genuine connection. I found her to be personable,... More

We were in desperate need of relaxation and recuperation and Leylands Farm provided this in spades. A wonderful 19th century house and extensive gardens, with an annexe you get free reign of. The attention to detail is unsurpassed with every little detail thought of. We will certainly be back.

A meandering drive down the back roads of Surrey is the introduction to Leylands Farm. Detailed directions were provided with our booking confirmation, and took us from motorway to country road to narrow lanes between moss-covered trees. A simple sign on an automatic gate told us we'd arrived. We parked as directed and followed the instructions to find our corner... More

Very conveniently situated in close proximity of Gatwick airport, yet placed in a lovely rural setting. Incredibly quiet and dark at night. Very cosy little haven. Even though the wood burner produces a lot of heat, it unfortunately was not enough to heat the sitting room on a few cold November days. Nice decor and very kind hostess!

The accommodation is on two floors with an extensive breakfast area and lounge below a cosy bedroom and private bathroom. It is all well furnished including fridge, stocked with milk, yoghurts and butter. The makings of a continental breakfast are stored in the sideboard along with teas and coffee. Ann, the propriety is both helpful and charming. It is set... More

We spent three nights in an adorable little house, enjoyed the furniture as well as the dishes, the television, the records - and the breakfast ! Anne is perfect host, providing anything we needed. The garden is beautiful, the location peaceful and inspiring. Very much recommended.

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding + our 1st wedding anniversary the following morning. Anne was very accommodating to our timetable (early check in, etc.) and the room was beautiful. Very clean, cosy and spacious. Breakfast was provided in the room which we were able to help ourselves to -- we loved this and it made the... More

This was my very first stay at a B & B and it was absolutely delightful. The accommodations were so warm and inviting and I immediately felt right at home! Homey touches were everywhere and daffodils were on the table. The wood-burning stove made the room so cozy for me. The gardens were so pretty and birds were chirpping all... More

This as my second visit to Leylands Farm, and it was again too short. Beautiful, private accommodation; Anne, the host, pays close attention to the details and small things that make a difference, like a piece of fruitcake when you arrive, farm-fresh eggs, farm jellies, and lit a warm fire in our suite. Lovely gardens, and great walks close by.

My husband and I stayed at Leylands farm last week on the Saturday night. Anne and her husband made us feel very welcome. We had a delightful stay. The annex is lovely, and even has a log fire. There are great breakfast facilities allowing us to make breakfast. The morning after we enjoyed a walk around the stunning grounds. It... More
