I stayed here for three nights and had a lovely time. It is in the middle of nowhere but the staff are lovely and friendly and the food is good. My room was clean and tidy and my bed was lovely and comfortable. I would stay here again.

As a Surrey native I enjoy visiting beautiful places in this beautiful county, and once in a while visit lovely Leith Hill. Years ago I looked inside this pub-- and it looked decrepid. I did not bother to go through the door. Ten years later I thought that it must have changed and decided today to call in and have... More

I had a one night stay in this venue, i was in a party of 4 , on arrival we were told one of the rooms had no light in the bathroom, so one of the men should take that as they could not be expected to sort it out there and then.On arrival in the room it looked OK,... More

Dear Madam, This shocking review you have left us clearly warrants a reply, due to your outrageous and disgraceful behaviour the evening you stayed with us. You all work for John Aspinall Zoo in Kent and you booked to stay at our accommodation in early December via Laterooms. On the same day as soon as I arrived I made a... More

My recommendation is that you never book this hotel. I booked accommodation for 4 guests in order to attend an awards ceremony. On arrival we were informed one of the rooms had no electricity as there we no other rooms available a colleague took it as there was no other option. We were asked what time we would like breakfast,... More

Hello, I'm Bentley the Italian Greyhound and I really like my food. So I was pleased with this country pub we stopped at for lunch on a long walk also with my little mate Herman. The portions are good for a robust appetite and thankfully our walker couldn't finish his steak & kidney pudding, so we enjoyed some tasty bits... More

The worst thing about this inn is its fantastic location which means that it continues to get regular custom despite terrible service. A the only pub on top of Leith hill they don't have to worry about competition (however I would like to suggest that there are plenty of other options around the bottom of the hill On 3 separate... We saw the Plough Inn on the web and thought it would be ideal for a two day break and we were not disapointed The food was excellent and the home brewed ale is a must to try. The owners were most genial hosts and the staff very friendly making our stay very enjoyable. We will definately stay again.

After a nice long walk we ended up at this quaint old English pub. The staff were all friendly and the menu was packed full of home made food. My 12 year old son had a gorgeous home made burger & proper chips. Pâté was absolutely yummy and fish cakes totally tasty! We were all tempted by the great selection... More

We visited for a lunch time stop and were not impressed with the prices, cleanliness or food. The pub location is fantastic and from the outside thought we were in for a treat. The bar area was dirty with a large number of flies. The food advertised as "authentic home-cooked" appeared as nothing more than being removed from it's packaging.... More

On googling "great steaks" near by - my husband and I found ourselves at the Plough Inn. The owners were wonderfully friendly and staff made it their business to come and talk to us, making us feel very welcome. Google did us proud - It really was the best steak we both have had in a long time. We stayed... More
