Had an enjoyable visit to The Lincoln for a couple of drinks after work. The pub has a large area with lots of seating. There are a couple of pool tables and a juke box. The staff were amiable. We went on the night that they were holding a poker night which seemed well organised. The Lincoln is well situated... More

I was in room 2, right by roaring traffic, listening to some poor soul coughing in the next room as I wondered whether to end it all. This must be one of the grimmest hotels, and I felt sorry for the staff who did their best, but knew it. I couldn't spend the night here - I would have got... More

The room was basic but okay. If you are planning on getting any sleep avoid this place like the plague. 80's anthems blasting through the floor until midnight. I stayed here for business as a last resort as no other places were available. No respect for guests. This place should just be a pub at best.

Visited the Lincoln Arms whilst attending an exhibition held in the small room by the entrance. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Ordered a jacket potato meal and a pot of tea which was very good. Good service. The place is quite lively, but everyone was friendly.

I think people are very, very demanding or the place has undergone a sea change in attitude. Check in was quick & efficient & we were in our room quickly. We did have a problem but this was rectified immediately & our room was swopped. Food was good, the room was warm & the bathroom clean, tidy & an efficient... More

Staff are awful and ignore you as long as they can. Take 40 mins to serve poached egg on toast, they weren' t busy, there were no other customers. Rooms are pretty grotty and music thumps through the walls until past 11. Avoid at all costs

We only booked this hotel because a friend was holding a party there. The bar is ok - good selection of drinks, we didn't eat there, food didn't look great. Breakfast was a little underwhelming so we didn't bother, but the room was large, clean and comfortable and well worth the money. Our booking hadn't been recorded and when I... More

We stayed at the Lincoln Arms. It cost £60 for the two of us with breakfast. We had the "best room". First thing I did was open the window which improved the room considerably! The bedding was brown and un-ironed, it also had a cigarette burn in it. The shower was over the bath and there wasn't a shower curtain.... More

i visted here while waiting for a train. even the locals avoided the draught beer. Staff admitted cleanliness is an issue with draught beers. so i stuck to bottle beers. at least they were honest! food was ok tho.
