I've eaten at this place a few times over the past few years and as a Rendlesham dweller this is my local by choice. I chose this place to celebrate my 50th with my family because I want them to love this place as much my wife and I do. On arrival I was greeted first by a lovely open... More

Visited this pub tonight and was greeted with a warm welcome and a waggy tail from the resident dog lol.......drinks were served immediately with a smile. Lovely lovely food, great ales and Brew the dog who will hold your hand if you like. It's a pleasure to visit. Well worth stopping at if you are headed up the coast or on a day out in the area as it will give you a real Suffolk welcome you just don't get in the chains.

A warm welcome, great beer, lovely garden with fantastic view over the countryside. Limited menu. We all had the haddock & chips. Meaty, plump, flakey fresh fish in lovely crisp batter. We waited quite a while and it was not very busy but it was worth the wait!

This is my village pub, I can often be found here with my wife eating and drinking. The food is excellent British pub food, superb Sunday roasts and a great menu during the week. The beer is wonderful, there is always a great selection of guest beers on tap too along with all the regulars. If you're looking for a... More
