For short stays we find it's usually better to stay in small friendly family run places like the Pavilion than in a corporate Premier Inn type of accommodation. The Pavilion is an ideal "travellers rest" which we are using more and more given the state of Britain's motorways these days. Breakfast is served by friendly owner Gretta on a large... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. It was the perfect blend of professionalism and genuine warmth. The twin bedroom was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The bed linen and towels were perfect. The breakfast was delicious, David and Gretta were attentive without being intrusive. We were lucky enough to have great breakfast companions at... More

Where to start? Breakfast? So delicious with home made bread and jams and marmalade. Communication? Good conversation and advice about the locality. Accommodation? The design of the house allows a "wing" of three rooms that give a sense of independence. My room looked out onto a beautiful garden that was very inviting to walk around. All you could wish for,... Pavillion House is by far the best B & B that we have ever stayed at with luxurious comfort in every respect. David and Gretta are the perfect hosts and immediately made us very welcome as did the chocolate labrador and cat. Gretta provided us with an excellent light supper and and next morning, a splendid breakfast with omlettes made... More

We stayed overnight at this lovely B & B after going to the races and a concert. It is in an ideal location for the racecourse and set in beautiful surroundings. The room was very well appointed with a modern ensuite and had everything we needed with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicous. David and Gretta... More

We arrived in Newmarket for a family wedding but thought it would be nice to stay in a B & B for the great location but also to get a feel for the lovely Suffolk countryside. We were not disappointed with our accommodation at all and our hosts Gretta and David were incredibly helpful, thoughtful and knowledgeable about the area... More

We were staying in close proximity to Moulton in order to attend a family event. David gave us a warm welcome on arrival and Gretta was equally friendly. The rooms are spotless and the bed very comfortable. Unfortunately one of our rooms although booked as en-suite was not actually, since the bathroom was across the corridor. In addition the en-suite... More

An absolute gem of a place. Can't fault anything with our stay and have booked again for next year. David and Greta are wonderful and can't do enough for you. The grounds are immaculate and we were lucky we had a few days of sun. Would highly recommend this b&b to anyone

The approach to the village of Dullingham is through miles of lovely rolling countryside, and this set the scene for Pavilion House. The gardens are beautiful and the house is attractive and well laid out - as a family of four we had double and twin rooms and the shared use of a bathroom and shower room. However, the next... More
