Our stay at Norfolk House was everything we would have like it to be, warm, comfortable, spotlessly clean, home comforts and to top it all a truly wonderful host, Lynne. From my first email to our goodbyes, she was welcoming, helpful and interested (without being too personal) and made our one night stay far too short! Our room was spacious,... More

Everything to the highest quality. Accommodation, breakfast and the warmth of the welcome all first class, and in the most delightful setting. We are fairly regular visitors to Newmarket, where our daughter works, and have been to a number of bed and breakfast establishments, but none come anywhere near matching Norfolk House for overall quality. We have found our resting... More

We had a great stay at Norfolk House just before Christmas. Lynne is most welcoming and keen to help in any way she can. We stayed in the Cream Room which was lovely and spacious. The two beds were made into an enormous double and we were offered hot water bottles if we were cold. The breakfast was outstanding, in... More

A weekend in Suffolk would not be complete without a stay at Norfolk House, it really is home from home in the most wonderful warm, opulent surroundings. Everything from the warm welcome to fantastic hosts made this the place you will not want to leave..... great location for everything and was recommended an amazing local pub for dinner called "The... Recently stayed at Norfolk House for our wedding anniversary. Made to feel very welcome. The Blue Room was most comfortable. Great views onto the garden and surrounding fields. The breakfast was delicious - cold meats, cheeses, fruit, cereals, toast - Lynne even made sure gluten free bread was available as I am gluten intolerant. Nothing was too much trouble and... More

We stayed here in October for a family wedding, and were delighted with the quality of the accommodation and all the attention to detail. The bedrooms were well decorated with extremely comfortable beds, and every possible comfort was thought of. The breakfast was delicious and we will definitely return!

We stayed for a couple of nights whist visiting friends. It is a lovely house, and Lynne and Brent are excellent hosts. Our room was very clean, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. We normally like an ensuite, but the lovely bathroom was just across the hall for our exclusive use, so was no problem. Great powerful shower... More

We recently stayed 3 nights at Norfolk House. Lynne and Brent are excellent hosts where nothing is too much trouble for them, tea and cake on arrival and local pub booked for supper. We stayed in the Blue room which has lovely views of the garden, swimming pool and fields with horses grazing. It has an en-suite which is quite... More

My dutch friend and I enjoyed our three day stay at this bed and breakfast. The owners are very welcoming. The house is very clean and the rooms are lovely. We loved the communications! The swimming pool is a nice bonus on a holiday.

We had a wonderful night staying here in this gorgeous house in it's peaceful setting. We received a very warm reception from Brent and then Lynne. We stayed in the French room with gorgeous antique furniture. The room was a lovely size and we had fluffy bathrobes and a hairdryer. I normally would have preferred an ensuite but this was... More
