What a shambles!! It is a disgrace that this venue is even on the list. At our wedding reception there was not enough food, not enough staff, the reception was badly managed and the staff and management were rude and discourtious. Our advice is to avoid this place at all cost!!!! more

Great setting but some flaws. Our bathroom was with the usual grubby carpet so beloved in the UK. It was advertisd as having a shower but had only a shower head in the bath only, usable just for hair washing. Also, they had mixed up the reservations and given our travelling companion the bigger and better room, although ours was... more

Stayed couple of nights in log cabin. Accommodation OK, clean & tidy. Towels were frayed at edges, could be better. Main building needs some tlc and cleaning. Cobwebs in lobby and carpet worn. Only had breakfast, which was waitress service, one morning waited 15mins to get served. Charged £1.50 for getting paper. Don't think it deserves the 4 rating other... more

We held our wedding at The Grange and were incredibly impressed with everything. The building and gardens are beautiful, the food was exquisite, and we stayed in a fabulous log cabin overlooking the garden which was very clean and modern. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I would recommend The Grange for anyone looking to stay in the area. more

I invited my Italian friends for an English weekend and was looking for a hotel that offered a good English atmosphere and felt I made a very good choice with the Grange Hotel. We loved the tudor style building, the open fire. We were put in probably the pokiest of their rooms but they were still a good size with... more

Arrived at the Grange Hotel and very impressed at first glance - fantastic location - very remote. Checked into our room which was very small and very dated. Bathroom was shabby and in need of some TLC. There were no cabinets or shelves to put your toiletries! Room was hot all night and bed felt very small. Hotel forgot to... more
