Stayed for two nights in the Studio and I'm not going to make any bad points as there weren't any. From the lovely hostess in Eileen to a wonderful two room cottage, all was perfect. Very clean and warm with the stove and other heaters. Good breakfast and very comfy bed. Shower was fine, powerful and hot. All this set... More

...sometimes you are lucky enough to come across a place like this. I had two nights stay here due to business but wished I could have stayed all week, not only was the host Eileen a wonderful lady, but the house and its history holds many a tale. My room was wonderful and comfortable with all the comforts of home.... More

Chancing a few days in Suffolk in March is a real wager. But this one paid off. This was a superb choice for accommodation. We stayed in the studio outside the hall in a gorgeous two room studio. it was delightfully furnished with a wood heater and an excellent little kitchen. The setting is terrific if a little spooky especially... More

eilleen is a wonderful host. She has provided a wonderfully comfortable place to stay , in a historic building that has been lovingly restored. Breakfast was great, tea and cakes when we arrived was no problem. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at West Stow Hall. The building is stunning, with so much history, and has been restored beautifully by Eileen and Andy. We were made so welcome by Eileen. Nothing was too much trouble, from tea & cake on arrival to advice on walks and things to see in the area. We were given a guided... More

My boyfriend and I visited West Stow Hall as it was his Birthday and we had theatre tickets booked in nearby Bury. Eileen gave us such a warm welcome, immediately asking whether we'd like tea and feeding us fruitcake in the lovely kitchen beside the Aga. Our bedroom was large and very pretty, the Hall has a sense of laid... More

We stayed at West Stow Hall in October 2014 for four nights with our two grandchildren of 11. It was a most wonderfull stay. Beautifull rooms and don't forget Eileen's breakfast each morning. Every day something special and for the children (and adults) a choice from croissants and pain au chocolat. Our grandchildren loved to play with Monty the dog.... More

We arrived to be welcomed with warm brownies from the bright red aga as we sat supping tea from pots with leaves. Nothing seemed to much trouble from our hosts. We shared a taxi with them to Bury for a night in town. Our bedroom overlooked 2 gardens and had a comfy sitting area with a TV. Sherry sat on... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful place to stay and we would most certainly return. Our welcome was so warm - a cup of tea and delicious homemade cakes in the Colonnade with all the information we needed about the area, the history of the house and the... More
