Room was small, strange smell comming from the bathroom - probably from the plug holes. Old fittings that need replacing, really slow tv. Poor lighting. Cold room. The room was tired and very cramped, service was so-so and basic hotel facilities unavailable. And the local beer - Greene King - was "off". If Bury St Edmunds had a Travelodge, this hotel would really struggle. Even at an online booking discount, it's just not worth the money. More
