I booked St. Andrews Lodge at rather the last minute and was prepared for the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised. The owner, Trish, was friendly and accommodating. I stayed in one of the purpose built units at the back of the main house - the carpet was well used, but otherwise the decor wasn't too dated and everything was... More

We had a extended stay here and found it quite Ok but there where one or two things that could have been better. We found that the room contained all the things you would expect it was very clean but a bit of Maintenance was needed such as. The TV had 20 Channels but only about 8 ever worked consistently... All the other 5 star reviews are spot on. the best scrambled eggs on toast belongs to Tish without a shred of doubt. Be the well kept, clean rooms which are individual with your own entrance, parking space or the flexibility with check in, check outs, this is the best B&B i have ever stayed more than 10 times now.... I stayed here for one night in May as I was going to a wedding locally. The room I had was spotlessly clean, particularly the bathroom, and the location was perfect for popping into town and walking to the station on arrival and departure. The room was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast the next morning was delicious. The owner, Trish,... More

We were up in Bury St. Edmunds for a wedding for a few days, and St. Andrews Lodge was recommended to us. Greeted personally by Tish on arrival, and offered coffee, which was kind. Our room was in the chalet block, slightly away from the house, giving us privacy. Very spacious, massive rooms, shower, bath, TV, coffee making facilities, even... More

We stayed very last minute but Trish couldn't have been more accommodating. Good location, nice bedrooms and a really nice shower. Also, a delicious breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend.

5 of us stayed on a cycling holiday. The lady owner was friendly, & produced great breakfasts. There are 3 twin/double rooms in an annex behind the main house. They are modern & clean, with nice bathrooms. Parking is a bit tight, but room for 3 cars. Very handy for the town centre. Good place to stay.
