Being someone who takes everything on holiday 'just in case' this is one B & B where I need not bother in future. A really friendly welcome, excellent breakfast and superb accommodation with everything provided. Nothing was too much trouble - thank you both very much.

we had a very enjoyable stay at The Wallow. The suite was spacious, clean & comfortable. We would definitely recommend this B&B. The breakfast was very good with local produce & the sausages were particularly nice. There was only orange juice for breakfast & it would have been good to have another choice of juice. We would definitely return!

Stayed here in July 2015 with friends for a wedding in local area. Excellent Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Suites are spacious, clean and very comfortable, plus one has a private lounge. Beautiful country setting in quiet location. Proprietors Linda and Mike greeted us on arrival and immediately made us feel really welcome. They were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast... More

The Wallow proprietors were very warm and welcoming and the suite we stayed in was comfortable, clean and unique. The wallow is situated with beautiful gardens to explore and perfect distance for getting into Bury St Edmunds! Thank you for a lovely break!

We have just come back from a short 5 day trip to Suffolk and whilst we don't usually post reviews we felt we must on this occasion. We stayed at The Wallow near Bury St Edmunds and can honestly say that this was the best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed at. Where to begin? Well, firstly the owners.... More

I chose this place for my parents to stay whilst visiting us in april. They were really happy with the accomodation and really loved the couple that own b and d. The rooms allow for privacy but the whole property has an atmosphere of a family home. Warm and welcoming. The gardens are lovely. It feels like you are in... More

My wife an I recently stayed two nights at The Wallow whilst visiting friends in Bury St Edmonds. This was our first visit and Mike & Linda welcomed us as though we were longtime friends. The attention they gave to us was of the highest order. No request was too much trouble. The Wallow itself was emaculate, spacious and spotless.... More

Brilliant hosts. My accommodation consisted of a bedroom, personal bathroom and lounge, together with a fabulous breakfast, at £60.00 a night it was an absolute bargain. The reason for my stay was a local wedding, spent two really comfortable nights. My first choice when visiting the area in future.

We found The Wallow by chance, and it proved to be a great place to stay. The hosts were very welcoming and the room, well 2 rooms was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great, with Linda cooking a supurb breakfast each morning. We did not need to eat again until tea. The hosts went out of their way to find... More

Lovely B&B - we stayed here for a wedding at Blackthorpe barn and wished we could have been able to spend a bit longer there. The hosts are really kind and friendly - even giving us a lift to the wedding and posting back something I left behind (without me even asking). The breakfast is great - with lots of... More
