My boyfriend and I came down to Bury St Edmunds for a family visit. We looked online for hotels/b&b's which there was many of, after looking for awhile we came across no6. It looked nice from the pictures and was greatly priced ☺. Well I cannot express how great this little gem is, the room we stayed in (double room... More

We stayed at No6 for one night as we were seeing a gig at The Apex (great little venue) Our room was cosy and quirky with a comfy bed and nice shower...Mariella is a warm and friendly host, and breakfast was very nice, served in a lovely dining room, full of character. With the centre of BSE just a 5... More

This B&B is in a fairly modest but well-lookied after Victorian terraced house in a quiet street near the centre of town. The welcome and service were great throughout our stay. The room was a fairly simple but pleasant twin with shared bathroom. It was warm, comfortable and adequately equipped and the shared bathroom was clean and modern. The house... More

The most lovely place to stay in Bury, a welcoming and kind host which we continue to keep in touch with. She was so generous with her time, expertise and genuine kindheartedness. We didn't want to leave! The house is stunning, rooms are well looked after, private and spacious, and breakfast is great. Cannot recommend it enough!

Our stay at the Orchard St BNB was delightful and effortless. We were welcomed immediately by Mariella, who is an efficient and engaging host. All amenities were provided and of a high standard. Mariella is an exceptional cook, her full English breakfast was particularly scrumptious. If I have the need to stay in this location again, I would not hesitate... More

Had booked 2 rooms here in April 2013 for the Christmas markets last weekend. Had a fair amount of queries before booking which were answered quickly by Mariella each time by email. On arrival we were assisted in finding a parking space in a side road very close by. It's free parking with a parking permit supplied by Mariella. My... More

Mariella and Paul were so helpful and the accommodation clean. Beds very comfortable and breakfast delightful. We loved the cheery conversation around the table with hostess and other guests and were very grateful to have help getting a couple of personal problems solved with generosity beyond the norm.

Mariella was a lovely host, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was great-comfy bed,tea & coffee facillities, shower, breakfast etc. The only thing we didn't like was that it was a little dusty. But everything else made up for that,so it's not a huge complaint.

We needed overnight accommodation at the last minute, and they responded very rapidly and confirmed room. Easy to find from the Railway Station (10 minutes); Mrs Mariella had made arrangements to let us in as she was out. After keeping luggage in room wandered around town (easy, as it was middle of town) and returned for the night. Tea/ Coffee... More
