OK - so cheap is the operative word here - but hang on a minute: The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere on an industrial estate! No en-suite bathroom - communal shower and WC down the hall. The horrible lumpy mattress was impossible to get comfortable on, so a decent nights sleep was out of the question. The... More

Stayed with a friend in a ground floor twin room as we were taking part in an event that started early the next morning nearby. Checked in to the hotel at around 7pm, the desk staff were very friendly and gave us some ideas for places to eat nearby (we ended up at the excellent Carpaccio in Stockton on Tees).... More

The smell of cigarette smoke was so strong we got to bed at 3am from a gig and left at 7am. The room walls were stained and the shared shower had toilet roll all over it. The sink in our room smelt of sewage and the receptionist looked like he would kill you if you complained. This accommodation works great... More

First time I've stayed for over 12 months and what a difference. Perfectly clean, very comfortable and a warm & helpful welcome from reception. If you're a contractor or business traveller on a tight budget, you won't find a better value for money option locally.

Welcome at reception was quite frosty, not many pleasantries. Room basic, bed, tea and coffee facilities and TV. Shared bathroom/shower facilities down the hall. Clean enough but not outstanding. Basic budget hotel if you are looking for a cheap one night stay.

Stayed here with a group of friends, had heard bad things about it.. Rooms were surprising good, clean and had all the essentials... Don't expect the ritz or en-suite..It has shared facilities, toilets are like being on an aeroplane i.e. don't take your cat in and try swinging it around, it just ain't gonna happen. There's a kitchen available that... More

Reading the reviews i thought it would be terable. Things have changed. Yes you have to walk down the corridor to the loo in the night if you need to. The place is clean and friendly staff. Overall, cheap and chearfull. I however, won't be going back.

Budget hotel that is in great location for the North East. It is always clean and rooms are very comfy with decent TV and free Wifi. I would recommend for any business traveller looking for a budget hotel.
