We stayed here as we attended a family wedding close by at Wynyard Hall. Although the b&b was off the beaten track (don't use postcode from website as takes you to farm next door), was nice and clean, breakfast was good and overall good price. Would definitely recommend.

I believe we stayed in room 4 although it was some time ago (I am quite late doing this review!) I stayed with my disabled mum and small dog. Although the pot-hole ridden road and lack of greeting were not ideal we worked out where we were supposed to be and the room was lovely. Two huge double beds, a... More

Absolutely filthy, no one on arrival just an envelope stuck to the door. The Shower was so mouldy I felt cleaner before I got in it! Considering it's a bed and breakfast you would think breakfast was included but an extra 7 pounds each! Dusty, dirty and need of a lot of money spent on it. Stay away!

The professional photos show the charming side to the lodge - it is indeed a very charming building with some beautiful internal features (wooden floors, wooden partitions, fireplaces and some of the furniture) however in the main was a little disappointing. Road coming up to the place was full of potholes (an unadopted farm track), very poor condition to get... More

First of all Breakfast is NOT included in the price, its an extra £7 EACH even though this isn't stated on their Website & we were not made aware of this throughout the booking. Also we told the Lodge that we would not be arriving until late that night so when we arrived in the early hours of the morning... More

Didn't see anyone during my stay. The drive leading up to the b&b was awful, full of potholes and very muddy. Was left a note with the door code on to get in the room which was fine. Bed and pillows were old so not very comfortable. Room needs decorating and paper coming off the wall, and damp in the... More

We had room 4 and was absolutely lovely. Felt homely and welcoming. Already booked another stay for next month, looking forward to it. Room was decorated modern and elegant. There is a pot hole in the road but that's not enough of a reason to put someone off staying here, genuinely enjoyed the stay thank you!

Stayed only one night in December. Not the best month to do a review of a B&B with a nice aspect, dark days and all that. Friendly staff very nice room(number 1) even had an open log fire(for a small supplement).Didn't have breakfast due to prior arrangements. Honesty bar at good prices was a nice touch. Only downside is the... More
