Stayed here a couple of weeks back as I had a job interview up at Alton Towers. Not only was the accommodation affordable, comfortable and really very pretty, but has the most incredible hostess. Friendly, helpful and and font of information, she even managed to get me in for breakfast early so that I could get away on time. Can't... More

This was a great place to visit Alton Towers from, we stayed there 2 nights for a great price that included a freshly cooked breakfast every morning (and the choice of cereals and toast too) There is a pub across the road which we had dinner at both nights which was lovely too! The location is perfect, so close to... More

Fantastic from start to finish, clean, everything you need, beautiful breakfast, friendly host! Slight blip with the heating which was immediately fixed! Can't wait to go back! 3 miles from Alton towers, very handy!

I have stayed here 3 times now, always very good and ideally located close to Alton Towers. Very reasonably priced, and very warmly welcomed each time. There is a pub opposite that is great for dinner too. Would definitely recommend. :)

We stayed for 2 nights in Appleloft - a double bed loft room with small en-suite shower room. Our stay was mid-week in the first week of November - just as the chilly weather arrived, but the room was nice and warm. We had everything we needed in our room - including the all important tea provisions. A generous breakfast... More

Stayed at this lovely B and B whilst attending scarefest at alton towers. We stayed in the granary which is a self contained cottage. Spotlessly clean and the cooked breakfast gorgeous. 8 minutes from alton towers. Perfect! Will return!

We stayed here in the Granary for 1 night 20th September, which was a real home from home, with kitchen facilities, 2 bedrooms and lounge area, very relaxing after a full day at Alton Towers, the owner ( sorry cant remember her name ) was very welcoming. Breakfast the next day was delicious and set us up for another day... More

Stayed 30 June for 2 nights in The Byre. We stayed with another couple and we all enjoyed our stay, The Byre was big enough for all 4 of us with a lounge and TV. We were visiting Alton Towers and the location is perfect for there. Breakfast was great and loved waking up to the smell of bacon cooking!... More

Having stayed at the Tythe Barn House in Alton for the 12th time this week. The owners are the most hospitable we have had the pleasure to meet. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is spot on. Roll on next year.
