Chose as a half way stopover bank holiday weekend. Not as easy to find off the motorway as anticipated, just as well it was late evening and the roads weren't busy. Welcome was friendly (Gareth?) and helpful, requested quiet room and was given last room on corridor - perfect. Had a glass of wine (Gareth? now on the bar .... More

Nice little hotel for a trip to Alton Towers. Comfortable clean rooms. We had a family room so an extra bed was made up from a sofa bed for our 9 year old. He said it wasn't particularly comfy but he slept all night! Lovely full breakfast in a lively breakfast room due to the Towers visitors! Not the ace... More

A very average hotel which is quite expensive for a night stay. We were charged £87.00 for a one night stay. 9pm the fire alarms went off so we were evacuated outside in the car park due to a member of staff burning a pizza in the kitchens. It was our anniversary and our son was woken up due to... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 weeks, using it as my base for visiting everything while I am in the UK. The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. There is unlimited tea/coffee making facilities in the room, outstanding, strong, complementary wifi throughout the hotel including in the rooms. The free breakfast is basic but very filling with hot... More

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. The bedroom and the bed was cosy. Breakfast was limited but the scrambled eggs were superb. I've got no qualms about staying here again and would recommend staying here.

Stayed here for the August Bank Holiday weekend as we tend to book chain owned hotels for a clean comfy room with usual facilities (wi-fi etc), tasty breakfast, easy parking (no extra cost!) at a reasonable price. They can however be a bit faceless to be honest. Pleasantly surprised at this particular hotel though because whilst it ticked all the... More

Looks quite new and modern and well appointed but experienced an issue that could have had disastrous consequences for someone else. Smooth check-in, nice room so good start....................................... As this was a business stop I worked online until 10:30 pm and then had an issue that - under different circumstances could have been deadly, and all as a result of... More

Ideal location if you're planing on visiting Alton Towers. When we arrived there was plenty of parking spaces and checking in was quick and simple. Our room was clean and can't complain at all. We all had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good, so much choice, they had cereal, fruits, yoghurt, muffins, pastries, juices and coffee. You could also... More
