Have used this lodge a few times previously, and always found that we have had a friendly welcome at reception the accommodation very clean and facility's good with KFC, Pizza Hut & Frankie & Bennies all on the doorstep, breakfast packs & variety of snacks & cold drinks available at reception. On the first floor Room 104 is a disabled... More

Stayed at Travelodge Saturday 2 nights with a group of friends. Welcomed by cheerful staff, checked in professionally, room spotless (no hairdryer) bathroom with shower only. Bed comfy, pillows a little firm for my liking. Staff replenished tea/coffee/milk when requested. Pizza Hut, KFC and Frankie & Benny's on retail park opposite. We ate at F&B's excellent service. Would stay again.

Full marks for a warm clean room where everything worked, and for a Receptionist who tried three numbers to get me a taxi. No more than 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Pity the illuminated sign was not illuminated, as it was a pitch black night, raining hard, and I just couldn't fin the Travelodge without asking - and... More

Liked the new room /sheet livery compared to usual travelodges . Location indeed handy for city centre- with car . And staff friendly & helpful with resto recommendations. Our room - at back - overlooked greenery , as opposed to shopping centre car park at front . Lift automated messages are a bit clinical - but there is a lift... More

Travelodge is Travelodge is Travelodge pretty much wherever you go - it does what it says on the tin, no more and no less. However, just once in a while, one goes above and and beyond the norm - in this particular case, entirely due to the kindness and helpfulness of the duty staff. Nothing too much trouble...quite exceptional!

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to learn you found our shower was warm and powerful, it is however regrettable to learn your room was not up to our usual high standards of cleanliness which we pride ourselves on providing every day. Your feedback is invaluable to us so thank you for taking the time to leave a... More

We just needed somewhere cheap, comfortable and local to Stafford to stay for one night. It ticked all those boxes. For a Saturday night, you could not find a cheaper room as close to the centre. Although it's not a quick walk into stafford centre (20 mins) its close enough and only a short taxi journey. The rooms are clean... More

Just a short walk into Stafford. Clean and comfortable. Hassle free. Pizza hut, KFC just a stones throw away if you need a quick brew. Plenty of parking available. Oldy worldy pubs in Stafford, visit the picture house, and the museum which is free. Thank you.

Friendly welcome and quick to book in. Room was nice but a few niggles - one of the bathroom lights was not working, there were hairs in the shower and the TV remove was intermittent. The bed and shower were both great and considering the hotel is on a trade park it is quiet. Several restaurants in the area within... More

This travel lodge is near to the town centre yet it wasn't noisy. There is a pizza hut and frankie and Bennys nr it too. We walked into the town centre to a wetherspoons. I would stop here again. It is near to lots of lovely places such as shrugsborough hall.
