Its a stunning hotel and restaurant the food should me Michelin star and the service is wonderful. The rooms are big and clean... More

We were going to Stafford showground so booked this hotel, for the price we paid £100 a night with breakfast we were very pleased with the hotel. The room was clean and spacious and had everything you needed the only problem was the noise at night outside from 1am till 3am which can not be helped but if I did... More

Stopped here at the weekend for my mum's 80th birthday. Loved it. Nice and clean. Breakfast was one of the best I've had and the selection of beers was really good. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Will be back next time we visit Stafford.

Myself and my husband stayed here last night for 1 night. The hotel is in a great location right in the centre of town, and has a free carpark at the back. What a gorgeous, welcoming and warm hotel! It oozes soul, and lots of character and history....oak beams, log fires, candles etc. Or room was well appointed and very... More

The Swan is a luxurious & comfortable hotel with a great atmosphere, lovely food & very helpful staff. As a life long Coeliac my diet was no problem at all; gluten free staples such as bread were always available & the menu was delicious. It was so refreshing to be given imaginative & delicious gluten free food in its own... More

We had booked a room at The Swan as we were having a meal with friends in the restaurant. We stayed in room 205, which was situated on the front of the hotel overlooking the main high street. The room was clean and very spacious throughout albeit a little dated. When we went down for the meal, our starters took... More

We decided to celebrate New Year by treating ourselves to a night away at the Swan Hotel. My boyfriend was coming up from Plymouth so it needed to be something special, and we were not disappointed. The food, service, people and room were all excellent, and we would recommend the hotel to anyone, wether it be for a quick bite... More

Breakfast was naff - no juice glasses, no butter given, burnt toast, no coffee or tea refill. 20 minute wait on food. In the room,we had a small double... the towel rail was so close to knees when sat on the loo, I burnt my knee. No top sheet on bed, only duvet cover, quite cold. However staff were lovely,... More

Dinned here with my family to celebrate a birthday booked and paid a deposit for the Christmas fare menu. Called into the Swan to get out of the rain whilst in Stafford. We only had drinks but looking around the food looked delicious and the hotel was jam packed. Service was good and the range of drinks was huge. Very well decorated building. Would love to go back again and have something to eat.
