A lovely hotel conveniently located for the station and for the town. Warm welcome, beautiful room and yummy breakfast. Some really nice little touches in the room. Wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy the facilities and see more of the city.

We wanted a hotel in Lichfield for a Saturday night and discovered this gem of a hotel. It has been a school in its past and the rooms are well apportioned. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome immediately and couldn't do enough to help us. We stayed in the stable block and found the room... More

I really enjoyed staying here in the holmes room.. it was soo quiet and plus the bed was good and the bathroom was nice aswell. I like the way you put sweets and fruit into the rooms so then people can just help them selfs.. i enjoyed the cooked breakfast aswell .. the staff are very friendly .

From the second we arrived Dan and the staff were friendly and welcoming. He even brought our bags fron the car! You dont get that at 4* hotels these days. The attention to detail was fantastic, even down to fresh milk in the fridge! Comfy beds, well appointed room, relaxing atmosphere. Great breakfast, and HOT toast (cant stand cold toast!) Would... We were recommended by a friend to stay at St. Johns House. Previously we had stayed elsewhere in Lichfield. We stayed in the Garden Room and were most impressed with the quality of the room, furnishings and every attention to detail to make our stay most enjoyable. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in the United... More

Jo and I had our wedding reception at St John's and Dan and the team did a fantastic job the food and ambiance were simply perfect 👌 really personal and attentive but without being overbearing. Took the full house so we did have it all to ourselves for friends and family. Think we should do it again next year

We stayed here recently for a weekend celebrating My Mum and stepdads wedding anniversary, to say the experience was one of the best would be an understatement. The hotel was outstandingly beautiful and the service was faultless. We truly had the most amazing weekend ever and wouldn't have been the same without the amazing owners and staff at St Johns....
