Just spent this weekend here. Not your average chain hotel, but something a little bit special. Service was impeccable. Our room was made up, the first morning we were there while we ate our breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. We were meeting up with other friends, so didn't get a chance to sample the restaurant, but be sure... More

Wonderfully eccentric place - in a good way! Decor beautiful. Service perfect as was the room. Evening meal was also very good. Generally excellent value for money and would recommend this hotel for a perfect overnight or weekend stay

We spent the weekend here for our wedding reception and we loved it. All of the rooms in the main house are beautifully decorated, each with its own bespoke design. They are all spacious and well appointed, you can look online and pick which one suits you best. The hotel provided us with an evening meal and breakfast which were... More

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely night's stay at Netherstowe House and what a treat it was. We both agree that Netherstowe is a fantastic hotel, everything was for us first class, the room was not only very pretty but was spotless and had everything you needed(loved the little extras like the fresh milk bought to... A wonderful experience with excellent and most helpful staff. the apartment we stayed in was first class how ever its no good just asking for a room with a shower must specify walk in shower if you are slightly disabled. There are a number of steps so not wheelchair friendly. Their restaurant is very good but having said that after... More

We decided to have a family get together with Aunties and Cousins and chose Netherstowe House and we were"nt disappointed. Welcomed outside and taken to a side room to wait for our other guests. Once seated in a room to ourselves the atmosphere was calm and relaxed, staff served us immediately with lovely sandwiches and the afternoon was very enjoyable.... More

We booked the Friday deal (Fantastic Friday) which offered an overnight stay with breakfast , 3 course a la carte dinner, cocktail of the month and chocolate truffles. At £179 for 2 this was excellent value. Our room (Captains Room) had a four poster bed original fixtures and fittings (exposed floorboards, panelling, fireplace and sash windows) and a small room... Sadly, only spent one night here - what a find! The staff were superb, friendly and efficient and greeted us by name from arrival onwards. Yes, you approach through a small housing estate, but once there it is a modern country house hotel in a delightful setting. The garden was wonderful for an aperitif in the evening sunshine. Our room... More

We booked an apartment in the annexe as we had a 14 year old with us and wanted more space than a pop up bed squeezed in a double room. We were welcomed immediately by a member of staff who took us to our accommodation. We had cookies waiting for us and milk in the fridge so we could make... More
