A great three night stay in Wells. Steve was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was lovely with a balcony and view out over the beautiful garden. It was also nice to have the tea / biscuits supply topped and a fresh bottle of water each day. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The B&B was... More

HIghfield is what a B&B should be--spotless, comfortably furnished, with owners who clearly enjoy their work. The breakfast room is lovely with a view to the garden (and Toby the tortoise) and the fresh fruit cup with luscious strawberries was a very welcome way to start breakfast. Steve's restaurant advice was very good as well. Wells is such a pretty... More

My friend and I stayed for three nights over the last weekend and both of us agreed it would be difficult to improve on it. Steve & Steph gave us a warm welcome and continued to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Plenty of parking space on the property. A lovely gracefully furnished house only a 10 minute walk... More

Thanks to Steve for being our host. We stopped without any reservation on saturday evening. It was a warm welcome. The room and the view from the balkony over the garden had been lovely. We got helpful recommandations for restaurants. The breakfast, even with gluten free bread, was a good start in the day. A stay here will be a... More

We had such a lovely room (number 2) at Highfield Bed and Breakfast. Poor Steve was on his own at the time we were there but that didn't stop him giving us top notch service. This place has a beautiful gardens for the visitors and is with in walking distance to everything Wells can offer. I will definitely not hesitate... More

This is a really lovely place to stay - a beautiful large Edwardian house, decorated and furnished in that era and an equally large and beautiful garden (which guests can use!). Stephanie and Steve are very friendly welcoming hosts, providing useful local information and a delicious and substantial breakfast every morning - everything you could possibly wish for! If you're... More

This was my second stay at the B & B now, although it was my brothers 4th time I believe. 5 of us in our party, so 3 out of the 4 rooms taken by us. Very friendly owners, on hand with local knowledge and a friendly chat. Good value for money, very clean and comfortable, everything that you could... More

City of Wells is sm. beautiful, cathedral, Bishop's Palace & moat plus parish/civic ch., but Wells is worth it for this real gem. Fantastic, words fail me. Beautifully kept, no money spared. Superb room, balcony overlooking well kept garden. Fantastic, only thing like many, many other places, needs a wall rail over bath for those, like me,who have difficulty climbing... More

Stayed here two nights. Lovely welcome, lovely people and a adorable snoring dog called Rupert. Nice room with a balcony looking over a lovely garden and great views. Breakfast was good quality and tasty- they have something for everybody (Anything specific not a problem if asked for night before). The fruit salad and juice is a lovely touch when you... More

Steve and Stephanie Trebble are delightful, charming, very helpful and accommodating hosts. Their home is a 100-year-old three or four story brick home built in classic Edwardian style. Steve and Stephanie have fully renovated the home to return it to its original style and grace. The home has been fitted throughout with period pieces of furniture and décor that make... More
