This was our second visit to Cadgwith House, and everything was as good as the first time we visited two years ago. The room was spotless, the facilities in the room the very best we could ask for, and the bed, one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Feather pillows and top quality bed linen, to the... We stayed at Cadgwith House during our half term week and, from the outset, we were consistently impressed. The family room accommodation was the highest in standard of any B&B which we have experienced. Jackie was so welcoming and keen to attend to all our needs. The breakfast on each of the two mornings during our stay was delicious and plentiful.... More

We arrived at Cadgwith House at 7ish one night with no booking and needing 2 rooms after a mix-up with other accommodation. How pleased we were. Jackie could not have been more welcoming. We were shown to immaculate, beautifully furnished rooms which were thoughtfully equipped with all we needed. We were especially impressed with the lights over each side of... More

Thank you very much for such a lovely review. It was pleasure to meet you and to be able to help out, all the more so as it was a special occasion. I'm glad you found the accommodation comfortable and the birthday "girl" enjoyed herself! very best wishes, Jackie More

We first stayed at Cadgwith House seven years ago and found the standard of accommodation to be very good. So good, in fact, that we have made several return visits in the intervening years and each time everything has been to the same high standard. Somehow Cadgwith House always seems to maintain a 'just decorated' look and on this visit... More

Thank you firstly for being such faithful guests and also thank you for your generous review of Cadgwith House. It's important to me that guests enjoy comfortable rooms and have a good breakfast to start the day so hearing that standards have remained as high as you expect is music to my ears! Thank you once again and I hope... More

Our visit to Welles was very successful and enjoyable and much of that was due to our stay at Cadgwith House which is an ideal distance from town. Jackie made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the accommodation was very good. Our breakfast was delicious and set us up for our further travels. We would definitely stay... More

We stayed only for one night and had a very comfortable and quiet stay. The property is located in a quiet residential street: it backs onto an open grass area, and has off-street parking. The décor is uncluttered and the rooms and bathrooms are very large with good noise insulation between them. Real feather duvets + pillows, and good quality... More

I would recommend this B&B any day. The rooms were a very generous size, spotlessly clean, breakfast delicious and the hostess very pleasant. It is a brilliant location as well, no problem finding it, or parking outside, it is within 10min walk of the town centre and the Bishops Palace, but away from the noise.

Thank you very much indeed for such a positive review! It's really good to know you found the rooms to your liking and it seems you enjoyed breakfast too! Maybe the candle for the birthday girl helped - though I can't take full credit for that! I wish you all many more happy family gatherings! very best wishes, Jackie More

Stayed with Jackie for one night at Cadgwith House. Location is up a quiet side street and perfectly walkable to town. The room and ensuite used to be two rooms, and hence feels a really good size and spacious. The bedding/linen were all off top quality and the room very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was lovely and a good... More

My wife and I revisited Jackie with our granddaughter in late June for a three night stay. Everything we liked about Cadgwith House during our visit in 2012 was repeated (see my review of last year’s stay for details). Our room (street side) was again spotlessly clean, quiet, had great beds, and plenty of room for the three of us.... More

Thank you so much for your generous review. I was delighted to see you again and to meet your granddaughter - she is truly charming. I hope she enjoyed her first tour of Europe and wonder if Avebury is still her favourite historic place? It's thoroughly pleasing to have guests who enjoy the rooms and breakfast and are kind enough... More
