On a wet November evening, how lovely to be greeted with tea and cake! A warm room, a comfortable bed and an armchair to relax in, plus peace and quiet. Lovely. Breakfast was well cooked and delicious, served by a relaxed and very friendly owner. I could have stayed and chatted all day. Nice location, very near the centre of... more

Within minutes we felt at home as the staff were so helpful about places to see and visit. The B & B food was excellent and the staff always positive. I would highly recommend this place! more

We just got back from two days in Glastonbury. We are frequent day trip visitors to Glastonbury but decided to stay at the Apple Tree. The location is superb and it is very helpful to have a place to park at the B&B too. The Sophia Room looks out to the Tor which was perfect. We were welcomed with a... more

My friend and I (regular bed and breakfasters around Britain) had booked two adjacent rooms and convenient bathroom nearby. We found gorgeously comfortable beds, a great attention to detail in every room making them individual; little extras one doesn't expect and an ambient environment that smelt and felt clean and lovely throughout. We stayed a few days and the whole... more

This was my third visit to Apple Tree House this year, and I can honestly say that I've been treated more like a friend than a guest on each occasion. Sue and Fred are so warm and welcoming, you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The rooms are very comfortable, with thoughful little extras such... more

My friend & I arrived after a 6 hour drive and Appletree House was empty - no one at home & no note of explanation on the door. Another guest arrived at the same time to no welcome. We walked into Glastonbury and at 5:30ish (over an hour later) I was telephoned but there never was any apology forthcoming. Sue... more

On the day this person arrived my husband and I had been out in the car for the first time together for over a year, and that was for an unexpected and urgent appointment. We do ask for people to give us times of arrival so we can make sure we are at home and, of course, the one day...
