My husband & I had one wonderful evening at this beautiful B&B. We arrived exhausted but so ready to see the town. We were made to feel welcomed even though I have to say we aren't the most talkative of people. A quick walk will take you anywhere you wish to see, couldn't have been a better location for us.... more

Parsnips is a very well run B and B in Glastonbury. Sensibly prices with peerless attention to good food and high standards. It should be your first choice, imho. Tia Carr Williams more

I stayed at Parsnips for 2 nights end of October... and I wish I could stay longer!!! It doesn't feel that you're staying at a guesthouse, it does feel like home away from home. Lynda and Lloyd are very very friendly, and from second you walk in the door they treat you like a dear family guest! You' will be... more

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast, the rooms and ensuite bathroom are small but perfectly formed, comfortable beds with lovely cotton bedding. Great location, walking distance to the shops and restaurants, the Abbey and the Tor. The breakfasts were fantastic, fresh fruit to start, followed by your choice from the menu. We will definately be booking here when we come back to... more

Great place, lovely clean rooms which are spacious and beautifully kept. Excellent location for walking into town or up to the Tor if you want the long walk! Makes a nice change to see something different on a breakfast menu and it was delicious my husband highly recommends the eggs and bacon on crumpets! Also lovely hosts and well worth... more

Wow, the favourite of our 9 stops on our Mini Adventure. The host is marvellous, holding our room for us despite us being 1.5 hours late, not returning her call to ask our whereabouts, and her having other guests ready to pay in her lounge. We thank you for that. The room was delightful, milk outside each door for the... more

Parsnips was beyond a doubt the cleanest B & B I've ever been in. Lynda and Floyd were warm, congenial hosts, making sure that we were situated comfortably in their home and in their town. I loved the casual, caring environment ehich was ment to put one at ease, and which it certainly did. Rather than feeling like a client... more

This was my second stay at Lynda and Loyd's and I have to say: Parsnips b&b is truly the best place to stay in Glastonbury. It is run by loving people, the rooms are spotless, it is cosy and very well decorated and the breakfast is excellent. It lies within walking distance of the city center, the Tor, Chalice Well... more

MAY 2009. We decided to base ourselves in Glastonbury and we chose to stay at PARSNIPS, what a great decision, it is the best B & B that we have ever stayed in. PARSNIPS is right on the edge of the grounds of the Abbey ruins, and sits at the base of the Tor. the room was first class, extremely clean... more
