We'd stay at the Lantern Tree again in a flash. We had the front room for a week, and enjoyed the perfect combination of quiet relaxation and enjoyable and enlightening conversation with our hosts. One of the reasons we love B&Bs in the first place is that we learn so much more about the area from our hosts. Drew and... More

I recently stayed at the Lantern Tree and I have to say it's a super establishment. The previous negative reviewer refers to there not being on-suite (seriously?). I believe they mean en suite.......any hoooooo the big bathroom they would have had...which we enjoyed, is far beyond any of the en suites I have experienced. Not many bathrooms are the size... More

Really lovely couple of days and nights at the Lantern Tree this September. there's clearly a lot of thought and effort has gone into making this a very welcoming and cozy B&B. Breakfast was fresh and a wonderful change from the usual greasy fry up, the rooms were beautifully set up and a good size, really nice selection of drinks... More

A lot of thought has gone into the creation and decoration of this spotless accommodation. Everything you could possible need for an overnight stay has been provided in the room, including bath robes, fridge with fresh milk and water, not to mention a selection of teas, coffee, biscuits and chocolates. We had a separate large and lavish bathroom to die... More

We had a lovely stay here on 29/7/13. A very comfortable room, lovely bathroom and a very good breakfast to the tunes of Nick Drake playing to get us into the mood for the day. The Lantern tree is conveniently located for the main attractions in Glastonbury to include the main street and witin a gentle stroll to the Tor.... More

Lots of consideration went into all that was available in the spotless room. Tea/coffee/snacks/Bathrobe. A very comfortable stay, only a short walk from all the main sites. Very kind and hospitable hosts.

Wonderful guest house. In very close proximity to the High Street. A short walk away from The Abbey, Chalice Wells etc and a lovely view of the Tor from our window. Superb breakfast, and Drew & Candy were wonderful hosts. Cannot recommend highly enough, would definitely return there on our next trip to Glastonbury
