What a great B & B! Sue from Yorkshire and Charles from Merseyside lived in South Africa for many years hence the title. They are both great fun and full of energy and useful information about the surrounding areas. The place was spotless, the breakfast tasty and varied - all in all a wonderful stay. Sue even sorted out a... More

Excellent overnight stay. Welcome A1; room A1; breakfast A1 plus. Premises clean throughout and Sue and Charles are marvellous hosts. Welcome included a cream tea with scones in a lounge with a roaring wood burning stove. We will visit again.

Just like all the other reviews. Why stay in a hotel when Millstream pays such attention to the smallest detail. Sue and Charles are a lovely couple. From the minute you walk through the wooden gate down the garden path you are warmly welcomed to delicious cake and tea. Large sofas warm fire. Excellent standard of rooms. Breakfast is gorgeous... This was our first stay in a B & B and Millstream Cottage must be one of the finest!! We plan to find out! It exceeded all expectations especially with the beautiful furnishings and fabrics - Sue has such good taste. Such attention to detail to ensure one has all needs met - other reviews will mention them all. No... More

We went for a romantic w-e away and the B&B for perfect for this. Warm welcome, with tea and cake in front of the open fire. Couldn't ask for more on a wet November evening after driving a long way. Lovely decorated room, mixing the best of modern and classic styles. Nice natural complimentary soap/shampoo/shower gel, even little extras like... More

We stayed at Millstream Cottage back in September so I've been rather slow in writing this review. We found it on one of the tourist accomodation websites and then checked the reviews on Tripadvisor. Given the level of previous ratings it looked like a good place to stay and we weren't disappointed. Sue met us upon arrival and was very... More

Lin and I had a lovely couple of nights with Sue and Charles at the Millstream on the occasion of our wedding anniversary at the end of November. Our host couldn't have been more attentive to us including firing up the woodburner to enable us to really feel like we were coming home. Dunster is a gem with plenty to... More

Charles Dickens wrote Great Expectations and Mr Kipling made exceedingly good cakes!! Well our hosts Sue & Charles exceeded all expectations. What more can I say. From the tiniest detail to the scrumptious cakes. The perfect breakfast fresh and most satisfying. So much time and effort is spent on the guests to ensure they have a relaxing and enjoyable break.... More

We had a very warm welcome from Sue on arrival for our 4 night stay. After showing us our room, Sue served coffee and delicious home-made cake in the comfortable lounge. She gave us advice on things to do, places to go and restaurants that she recommended. We stayed in room 1 which has a view over the garden and... More
