We visited the hotel pre and post our wedding which was held in nearby woodland and absolutely cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff, the rooms, the food, the service - everything was faultless. The rooms were huge, very well presented and well equipped. The staff went above and beyond to help us with the wedding (even offering to house... More

we have just returned from a couple of days in Dunster staying at the Castle Hotel which we enjoyed. The hotel is situated on the high street and has it's own car park worth it's weight in gold in this village although the passage from street to the car park is very tight. The hotel is clean and comfortable the... More

We found this hotel late in the evening, as the hotel we had booked for the night, was not as it said it was and we decided not to stay! However, the hotel said they had a room and gave us the choice of two rooms, but we quickly accepted Room 4 which was very nicely decorated and a large... More

We stayed for two nights recently and were in the De Moton suite which is the highest room above the arch. There were a few issues with our stay, I'll deal with the bad things first then talk about the good things. In our room one of the window latches was broken so we couldn't get any air through that... I don't often write reviews but I felt the urge to after my stay here. We arrived early evening and were warmly greeted, after being shown to our room and dropping off our bags, we decided to sample the food. It was devine, my starter was pretty as a picture and all three courses were cooked to perfection. My fiancé... More

Hotel room was clean, good nights sleep, lovely breakfast. Staff very friendly, location although being in High Street was nice and quite at night even with window open. Menu was well presented and food to a very high standard.

My husband booked this hotel for us to stay for one night for our Anniversary. It was a brilliant choice! Grant, Jo and their staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our room was beautiful, it was clean, well furnished, including a Super King bed and had a lovely view of the gorgeous town of Dunster. We had a wonderful... More

My wife Viv and I booked the previous day online and went to this Hotel on the recommendation of friends. On arriving Grant the manager was very friendly and chatty. They have only been managing the hotel for three months but all is going well. We decided to have a light lunch in the lovely sunny beer garden, then later... More

I had 4 days at this lovely hotel. Travelling alone with no car this was the perfect place for me with easy access to local bus routes. My room was lovely, overlooking the street. The staff were always friendly and helpful. I found the waiter/waitress service to be extremely prompt and accurate. And even when she was rushed off her... More

Didnt stay at hotel as just a local day trip. Went for an early lunch. 2 adults 2 kids. Had the best scampi and chips ever not from packets and obviously handmade tartar sauce. Kids menu good not just sausages and chicken nuggets! Free range eggs in the gammon. Service quick and friendly desserts to die for chocolate and raspberry... More
