Had a nice time here, food was lovely, owners were friendly! Room was fine! Would Defo stop here again, especially as the owners will baby sit out twins :) Nice little cellar bar and the local Walks we went on were great! Would recommend this hotel.

We found the Dunster castle friendly, good value for money and rooms clean and comfortable. We got the weekend deal which included breakfast and a evening meal. The breakfast was good and the evening meal surpassed my expectations. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

I was down in Minehead for business and decided to take my wife for a night away. Hotel was very convenient for Minehead and in winter Dunster is not full of tourists. We had a nice large room with a comfortable bed. My wife had dinner which she said was good and we both had an excellent breakfast. The staff... More

My husband and I came to this "hotel" to celebrate my birthday and could not have been more disappointed. The room had dirty carpets, so much furniture you could barely open the bathroom door, an extractor fan for the restaurant kitchen right next to our bedroom window which was so loud it sounded like we were staying on the runway... I am not in anyway surprised by this negative review. The customer call in the morning to advise that he made a mistake and booked a twin room instead of a double for his wifes birthday and could we help... we advised him that the only room left for that night was a standard double at the rear of the... While traveling in the area west of Bristol, we found the Dunster Castle Hotel. Booked on line and arrived before the booking had been received by the hotel! The staff were great, they assisted getting us a room promptly. Rooms are clean and comfy. The old charm of the hotel is ever-present, the usual quicks (some low head heights, smaller... More

My partner and I booked a room for my birthday for Sunday 8th Feb.On arrival the owner said she would upgrade our room as it was quite quiet. The room on first being shown in looked lovely but on closer inspection we noticed quite a few cobwebs and the carpet looked like it needed a good hoover. We werd informed... More

I write with disappointment with regard to your review. As you would have seen and we explained there is major water works going on in dunster, and on sunday evening we were losing water for 3 hours hence why our restaurant was closed. We take pride in our rooms and as you can see from our previous reviews do njot... More
