This is a lovely B&B and Amanda goes above and beyond anything you could expect from the time you arrive to the time you leave. We were greeted with a nice cup of tea and cake. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with coffee making facilities. After coming back from cycling some of the Strawberry Line wet and covered... More

I visited bramblewood last weekend with my mother, and 7 year old daughter. we had a lovely welcome with tea and cake. My 7 year old was made a fuss of by Amanda (which my daughter loved). the room was so clean and fresh. The bed was comfy and the en suite shower was bliss. Lots of tea making facilities.... More

I recently stayed at Bramblewood whilst on business in the area. I can only describe my stay to this lovely B&B as perfect. The hosts Amanda and Colin are extremely welcoming and so knowledgeable about the area. Nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel very much at home. The bedroom was everything that I wanted, quiet, spacious,... More

Hosts Amanda and Colin both really friendly and welcoming. Lovely bedroom with views of Cheddar Gorge - not en-suite but a beautiful modern and spotless walk-in shower/bathroom was just across the hall. Breakfast was wonderful - I had the full English breakfast, unusual for me, all local produce and so much I couldn't finish it. Amanda and Colin have a... More

Amanda came out of the door, greeted me with a hug and a big smile. Offered me juice and cake like an old friend. She offered to make dinner reservations for me and suggested a great pub called the Gardners Arms. The room was cozy and very pretty. The bathroom was not ensuite but it was modern and very clean... We stayed for four nights at Bramblewood for the May Bank holiday& it was FAB!. Location is fantastic, very peaceful with pretty surrounding scenery & just 5 mins to Cheddar Gorge & the bus stop, just in case you wanted to travel further a field without taking the car to Wells, Weston Super Mare etc. Amanda & Colin are fantastic... I'd agree with all of the previous reviews. We arrived footsore after a long exhausting walk from Weston-super-Mare to be greater as one of the family. rarely has coffee and a cake been more welcome. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The shower separate but bliss. An excellent breakfast too. Not sure how it could be improved really!

If any place deserves to prosper it's the Bramblewood. We were greeted by Amanda and Colin like old friends, tea and homemade cake on arrival, large, comfortable spotless room with an extremely comfortable bed, very modern bathroom with proper shower and a superb breakfast before we left; freshly cooked of course but with freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, squeezed orange...
