Spent two nights at Chedwell Cottage. Wonderful place to stay, Sue and Hannah were the perfect hosts, lots of good information, nothing too much trouble. First time we have been offered a choice of eggs, choose the duck eggs, they are wonderful. Rooms comfortable and clean, would highly recommend this B&B.

Dearest Sue and Malcolm...and Hannah, I suppose lol! We booked after seeing wonderful reviews on trip advisor, for a special weekend treat away to see Cheddar Gorge. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. Nothing was too much trouble! Tea on a tray was brought out to us in the beautiful garden, to relax after our... More

Well we arranged to stay here for a friends birthday and called to confirm our attendance in the morning before making our 4 hour journey, and also asked if they wanted payment via bank transfer as the cheque I was going to send has not been sent in time, however was asked roughly what time we would be arriving in... Lovely b and b, small but with all you need - good sized rooms, great breakfast (own duck eggs!), super hosts etc. Off the main drag but pleasant walk to the centre. Outside area for lounging with papers after breakfast. Great! Not forgetting the friendly dog.....

Absolutely amazing B&B. Sue and her family were above and beyond helpful and service was brilliant. Welcomed with cups of tea in the front garden, rooms impeccable, comfy bed, quiet, cooked (or selection non cooked) breakfasts to die for (really recommend the fresh duck or goose eggs!) and all round friendly atmosphere. Sue even offered to dry out our boots... More
