Very nice place to stay with lovely, welcoming hosts. You get a breakfast that could feed kings in a lovely setting, just a few minutes from everything including the gorge. The beds are comfortable and a lovely lounge to relax at your disposal. The only downfall is the shower, but that can easily be overlooked.

We stayed at Chedwell Cottage for 2 nights to visit The Gorge and Caves. Were warmly welcomed by Sue and served with a complementary cup of tea after our journey. Our room was lovely, bright and clean, en-suite with everything you could need. It was very quiet at night. The breakfast was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We were... More

We had a wonderful two night stay at Chedwell Cottage. Upon arriving we were offered a choice of our room and then some much needed tea and biscuits. It is a perfect spot to explore Cheddar on foot and to have a much needed quiet and relaxing setting. The cottage is clean, well-presented, and cozy, with Sue paying close attention... More

It isn't the Ritz but it is a fantastic B+B, tucked away in a quaint location in Cheddar. The breakfast is to die for and the extra buttered toast I requested arrived with butter that went to all the corners!!!! I like somewhere that does what it says "On The Tin" and staying at Chedwell fills the whole tin, to... More

My boyfriend took me there to celebrate my 30th and he certainly did well!!!! Sue even sent me home with Birthday... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here whilst we had a weekend trip to Cheddar. When we called on the phone Sue was very funny and seemed great and we couldn't wait to meet her in person. When we finally arrived she was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home the entire time we were there. Breakfast options were fantastic... More

Sue and Malcom were very friendly. Coffee was made on my arrival and I was shown to my room which was very clean and comfortable. I attended a wedding reception in the afternoon, when I received a phone call which meant I had to return home unexpectedly. Sue and Malcom very very understanding. Due to the hospitality I received during... More
