Lovely b and b, small but with all you need - good sized rooms, great breakfast (own duck eggs!), super hosts etc. Off the main drag but pleasant walk to the centre. Outside area for lounging with papers after breakfast. Great! Not forgetting the friendly dog.....

We were looking for a peaceful place to relax and rest and it was what we found!!...and not only ...we also found courtesy, friendly and smiling faces, a cozy and clean room and a delicious breakfast with a pleasant classical music backgroung, while birds were singing outside the window!! Excellent!!!

I can't rate Chedwell Cottage highly enough. We've had a brilliant week at Sue & Malcoms B&B. the perfect hosts, along with their daughter Hannah. Superb breakfast, with home made bread & local produce, mmmm. which kept us going all day. We were welcomed back every afternoon with a cup of tea after our busy days touring the surrounding area as... More

Absolutely amazing B&B. Sue and her family were above and beyond helpful and service was brilliant. Welcomed with cups of tea in the front garden, rooms impeccable, comfy bed, quiet, cooked (or selection non cooked) breakfasts to die for (really recommend the fresh duck or goose eggs!) and all round friendly atmosphere. Sue even offered to dry out our boots... More

I stayed at this lovely cottage last week and I was delighted with the service from the moment the door opened! Sue is an incredible hostess - I was made to feel so welcome in such a homely cottage, it almost felt like I was staying with friends. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, the service for breakfast was prompt... More

We spent 2 nights here and I have to say it has been the best B&B we've stayed in. Sue and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped with tea/coffee. The breakfast was huge and kept us going all day! Definately recommend the poached goose egg! Plenty of choice also depending on your... More

Sue Criddle and her lovely family gave us the most delightful stay in Cheddar! We stayed for one night, and arrived very late, only to find Sue and her lovely dog very accommodating and charming despite the hour. The room was comfortable and had lovely little extras such as Eden bath and shower gel, and we both slept like logs... More

What a wonderful find, situated in a very quiet location away from the crowds, yet within walking distance of the Cheddar attractions. We were greeted to the guest house by Sue,who made us welcome in a very comfortable establishment, very tastefully decorated and furnished. We were well fed with superb breakfasts. A very restful retreat for the three nights we were luck to... More

Sue was kind enough to let us stay at the last minute when the company I work for and another B&B in the area let us down. And are we glad they did. Sue was fantastic and so was everything else. Thanks Sue
