The Apple Tree is an easy walk from the train station. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and it is within an easy walk to the center of Bath. As in other houses in which we have stayed in Britain, there are steps to negotiate to reach the rooms. It was delightful to be welcomed by the friendly, pleasant,... More

It's pretty hard to beat the Apple Tree for location, cleanliness, personality and friendliness. We reserved and paid our deposit on line. The owners, Les and Lynsay, are a lovely young couple with two young children who know the keys to running a successful guest house/B&B. The home is located in an older stone-built residential neighborhood within about 3-4 blocks... More

Leslie and Linsay are the happiest and most chipper young couple we have ever seen. Breakfast was excellent even while seeing their young children off to school and cooking our order exactly as we ordered it. The selection was outatanding, also. We had the room for three and it was just great. Easy walking distance from the train and town... More

My partner and I spent five days at the Apple Tree Guest House while visiting Bath during the Christmas Market, and we had very enjoyable stay. We were made very welcome by our lovely hosts, our room was clean, comfortable and warm and our breakfasts hearty! The guest house is only five minutes walk away from the city centre and... More

Donna and I had a great stay in Bath for the Christmas Market. We stayed (as always!) at The Apple Tree Guest House. Lynsay and Les did themselves proud. Lovely rooms, nice and quiet of a night and, most importantly of all, a really warm welcome. Can't wait to get back!

The guesthouse is on a quiet street just off a fairly busy road, Les gave us a parking permit on arrival and we managed to get free parking for the whole of the weekend. As the city centre was only a short 5 minute walk away we didn't need to use it again until the day we left! :-) Les... More

A friend and I stayed at the Apple Tree to recover from jetlag at the beginning of a recent trip. We went straight there after arriving at Heathrow (coming from Los Angeles), and from the moment Lynsay came out to greet us, we felt right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and both Lynsay and Les took excellent... More

Wonderful little guest house on a nice quiet street but only 5 minute walk to the city center. Never had to use our car and could even return just to use the restroom! This was great as we could come and go from the very busy Christmas Market. Les & Lynsay could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Our... More

This is the most fantastic place to stay! I wanted to get into Bath early on the Friday to catch the Christmas market before the rush. Lynsey was so very helpful letting us come at 12 and gave us our parking permit and a very informative guide and map of the city. What a lovely kind family Les and Lynsey... More

We needed a place to relax for a few days to get ready for a busy business meeting in London. The Apple Tree was perfect: welcoming, quiet, an easy walk into town. Breakfast was especially good: very fresh and plentiful. Loved our stay.
