The Orangery is a unique B&B, with interesting rooms and lovely garden. We stayed in Amelie which overlooks the garden. Everything you could wish for is provided in your room. Service is friendly and met our needs well. Parking is included which is a big plus compared with some other places.

We booked this room because it had an eclectic charm and we weren't disappointed. We received a warm welcome and all of our needs were catered for. The shower was fantastic; like standing underneath a waterfall and the bed was like something from Alice in Wonderland and gave a very comfortable night's sleep. The location was perfect, it was just... More

We arrived tired and stressed so to be given such a warm welcome by our hosts was important and a cup of tea was even better ! Our room was stylish and rather arty, but so was everywhere. A lot of care had been taken to make sure our room was clean and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast got... More

I booked this room as a treat for myself and my husband as he hadn't been to Bath before and has a great interest in Roman history. When I booked and showed my husband where we were to stay he was very sceptical as he thought we would be staying in one of the usual hotel chain rooms. When we... More

We stayed at Queen Charlotte's Orangery for two nights in the Sophia Room. The Sophia Room is a delightful, if a little small, room and every bit as romantic as a couple visiting Bath could hope for. We were warmly welcomed and spoken to about all things Bath. Breakfast was delicious with a fine cooked breakfast and a lovely plate... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights in the Sophia Room which was magical. We were welcomed by Nigel and showed to our room which included a mind blowing Four Poster. The breakfast was wonderful and was taken in the Orangery. My wife who eats meat said that her sausages were sublime. The only disappointment was that we could... More

Stayed here during the hot summer. Downside: difficult to find, crowded room with very few outlets, very hot with no moving air (not offered a fan). Upside: nice outdoor breakfast area, easy walk into the main part of Bath. Bottom line: it's ok but would probably recommend a place on Pultney street.

My partner and I spent 2 nights as part of a short break in Bath. We selected the Orangery from a number of available hotels as we wanted to avoid the blandness of a chain hotel and to stay somewhere that reflected the history of the city... This proved to be a great choice. Quintessentially english and packed with charm... More
