Stayed at The Belmont for 1 night, Saturday 4th July, with my husband and 5 year old son. Was offered a a choice of 2 rooms. Opted for the top floor room at the back of the house. Great views and peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable, with tea/coffee/biscuits/hair dryer/towels/soap/ensuite/TV etc. There was a large lounge that you could... More

A special weekend in Bath, planned & booked by my daughter, as a Birthday treat Chosen to give the "Austen touch"Close to the centre (up a slight hill) easy to find-(Parking could be a problem-I'm not sure, -we went by train!) Lovely en-suite rooms, good welcome, good breakfast,-but lots of stairs. There is an upstairs lounge which looks out over the... More

Stayed for a couple of nights for Jane Austen festival...nice and close and easy to get to on public transport. Felt very welcome and great breakfasts were served. I had a room on the top floor but knew about this in advance and Archie carried my bag up on arrival which is a nice touch. He was very welcoming and... More

My husband and I were in Bath for the British Beard And Moustache Championship and were booked into the Belmont by a fellow contestant. Great value B&B for Bath. Hosts very friendly. Double bed was small but extremely comfortable. Breakfast was standard full English. Very tasty. Located on a steep hill so possibly not ideal for some but we would... More

Lovely little place. The owner, Archie, was very helpful and friendly (for example he advised us to go to the Roman Baths at night, to avoid queues, which saved us a lot of time in our short visit). We stayed in one of the rooms with a shared bathroom. Everything was very clean, and tidy. I definitely plan to stay... More

Very nice ensuite just a five-minute walk from the centre. Standard English breakfast. Owner's sense of humour is an acquired taste and be careful not to obstruct him when he tries to serve you said breakfast, but they are very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location being only a 5 minute walk from the Royal Crescent and shops and restaurants that Bath has to offer. We had a very friendly welcome and the breakfast was lovely! The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Our first time to Bath and we will definitely go back and wouldn't think twice to stay at the... More

The Belmont has super-helpful owners who bent over backwards to help us find parking, locate various sites in the city and have an all-round enjoyable stay. The room was spotless and warm, and the breakfast hit the mark. AND the building is pretty much right in the centre of everything. All in all, the Belmont offered great value in what... More

We found the Belmont really pleasant and comfortable, and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Parking is a little distance away, but very cheap. It's best to leave the car there, because you can't really use it in Bath. The owners were friendly, attentive and helpful. The rooms were sizeable, and the beds very comfortable. Although it is... Very pleasant B&B. Location is perfect for visiting Bath, rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. House designed by John Wood in 1756. Filling English breakfast and owners very helpful. All you need for perfect weekend :)
