We were in room 3. We were greeted by a gentleman whose breath stunk of alcohol, when we arrived about 12noon. The room was very spacious, but we felt that the bed linen had not been changed after the previous occupants. In fairness, apart from that the room was clean. The toilet was a saniflow, and as such was very... More

Very welcoming, clean, tidy, up to date, great location, peaceful, I would definitely stay here again. Only being able to pay in cash is a bit of a pain as I didn't like walking around Bath with so much cash. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the city centre.

Went here to stay for two nights ,very friendly and gave out helpful information ,room was large with a nice on-suite .it was very clean and the beds and pillows very good . There was a kettle, cups, with tea coffee and milk . I brought my own milk but there is a fridge on the top floor for all to... More

I booked Lynwood House for two nights to attend the Bath and Bristol University open days. The house was easy to find, we parked on the street to unload and then moved to the parking lot behind the house. When you book you receive instructions on how to get into the house and it all seemed very complicated - but... More

We stayed at Lynwood House for 3 nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Christian was very welcoming and gave us a great overview of what to see in Bath and where to eat. The room itself was fairly basic but comfortable, clean and cosy. The guesthouse doesn't provide a lot of "trimmings" but for the price it provides good... More

Spent a lovely 3 night stay at Lynwood House during a recent visit to Bath. Very reasonably priced and in a very convenient location to Bath Abbey and all local amenities, we really could not have asked for more. Our room on the top floor, though tiny, was very clean and Christian the owner met us on arrival and carried... More

Myself and my friend came for a two nights, we had a lovely stay. Welcomed at the door, room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable to the fact we decided to order a breakfast to be delivered to the B&B as we didn't request this when we booked. They were happy to allow this, was kind enough to lend... More

Stayed in Lynwood House on 3rd April. The first thing we noticed is that the heater did not work. We contacted the relief manager and she came into the room but could not fix the issue, hence we were told to use a portable heater in the room. In the evening around 10pm, we realised that there was also no... More

It is a shame this reviewer feels the need to continue posting negative reviews about our guest house. Since taking over Lynwood House we have worked very hard to ensure that all guests who stay with us have a great time in Bath and we would urge people to read our other reviews on TripAdvisor and on Booking.com and compare... Just spent two nights here and it's a perfect base for exploring the city. All the main sights, shops and eating places are within a five minute walk. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay with parking available. We'll be back.

I and my partner spent two nights at Lynwood house. The place is cozy, clean and tidy. It is about 5 minutes walk from bath abbey and the city centre. Also maximum 15 minutes walk from skyline on the hills (knowing the shortcut) which gives a "bird's eye view" of the city! Chiristian is very welcoming. He briefed us shortly... More
