I stayed in Room 4, a twin room. The owner was not around when we arrived, but left a greeting note. She introduced herself later and was really friendly. The whole house is beautifully decorated and the room was just as good as a hotel room. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits in the room and there was a hair dryer and... More

Location - 20min walk from town centre, 15 from Bath Spa station, uphill on the way there. Convenient for sightseeing but nothing there late at night other than an excellent Indian (Mouchouk) and a pizza place. Parking is free, buses at the top of the road too Rooms - we had room 8, top landing front facing double en suite.... More

Not greeted on arrival, letters pinned on front door with instructions on entry to premises as owner was out. Owner very unfriendly did not introduce herself to us. Certainly not a quiet location as situated on a very busy road, so lots of traffic noise. Definitely does not warrant the accreditations it has. Very disappointing, we will not be making... More

With only a 10 minute walk from Bath center and good connection to all major roads, Astor House is ideally as the center for further explorations in the city or region. Astor House is a clean, pleasant B&B, with all the things ensuite you come to expect from a modern B&B. Breakfast selection is good and the rooms were quite... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in May 2014. It is a 10 minute walk from the center of Bath. Nice B&B with good parking. The room was clean. It was facing a fairly busy road, so the street noise dosn't disapear until late at night and starts again early in the morning. The bath room was clean. Breakfast choice... More

We were doing a 6 day road trip to Harwich for a 12 day Baltic Cruise and stayed 2 nights. We were surprised there was no one there during the week days after the maid left. We arrived before she left and was able to get to our room early- had just arrived at London International airport, picked up a... More

We stayed here over a weekend in June and had a great time. It is a very pleasant guest house with an easy walk down to the city centre and all the Bath attractions. We stayed in a family room which had plenty of space for three and had great views over the city. The breakfast was good and we... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on Bank Holiday weekend in May. Very nice B&B with adequate parking either on premises or on road. Our room was on the top floor and was teastefully done out. Only criticism was the heat; despite the fact there were no radiators on, the heat was almost unbearable. We managed to open the sklyight, but... More

My husband and adult daughter and I stayed here for three nights in early April. Location is on a hill overlooking Bath but easily walkable to the center of the city. We secured a family room which was slightly cramped but had all the amenities including plug convertors, hair dryer etc. Strong WiFi. Great shower with hot water. Comfortable beds.... More

Lovely room, fantastic view across the city to the surrounding countryside. Garden looks gorgeous but as we were only staying overnight didn't venture down. Full English breakfast was delicious, very nice sausages. Would recommend and stay again.
