My wife and i have been happily married for 9 year's, so, when the magazine, E-Motion, a free magazine given out by South Western Train's, featured Bath as great get away, i took the hint, and looked it up, finding somewhere to stay, was'nt hard, after all, there were many to choose from, however, somewhere a little different, close to... more

We spent 3 nights at Chestnuts after reading tripadvisor reviews and were very happy we had made the decision to stay. It definitely lived up to the high expectations we had before arriving and the breakfasts were wonderful, as had been mentioned many times! Toni was a great host and made us feel very welcome. Great location too as we... more

three couples getting away without the kids! staying at chestnuts was an excellent choice. the whole house was clean, warm and decorated well. the staff were friendly, helpful and easy going. the position of chestnuts made it an ideal base, everything was within easy walking distance, even though it's location was quiet. we were all very impressed, and keen to recommend it... more

Chestnuts is a really nice place to stay; a nice house, our room was clean and welcoming and there was a great breakfast choice. There is off street parking and just a five minute walk to the centre. I'd stay there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chestnuts as a great place to stay in Bath. more

We chose Chestnuts because of such positive reviews on TripAdvisor. We wanted to be within easy walking distance of the city centre and were delighted to find Chestnuts is situated in a quiet street next to the pretty Henrietta Park but just a few minutes stroll from Pulteney Bridge. The Roman Baths and Pump Room is just eight minutes door... more

My fiancé and I stayed at Chestnuts for two nights recently and were very impressed. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived and shown to our very comfortable ensuite room which was tastefully decorated. Toni (the owner) cooked our breakfasts beautifully and there was a good choice to choose from on the cooked breakfast front as well as a tasty... more

What makes Chestnuts above average is the small things, like butter in a dish and little pots of jam at breakfast. Also the unusual choices of cooked dishes. It was lovely to be able to have a bath, as for the preceding 3 weeks I had only been able to shower. The bathrooms are quite large for a change. We... more

Excellent guest house , our bedroom was well decorated in good light colours as were all the other rooms available for guest use. The breakfast was one of the best I have had. Huge bowl of good quality fresh fruit with great variety ,not just the usual ordinary choice. The hot dishes were of the best quality. In fact the... more

Chestnuts House is a lovely little Guest House. It's clean and tidy, friendly and a great location - what more could you ask for. I stayed with my husband and two children (3 and 9) and we all enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was fantastic - so much choice. I have never known my children to eat so much! Would... more
