This visit is my fourth in a few years and every time I spend time here I am reminded that this impressive hotel offers both superb accommodation coupled with a wonderful atmosphere of decadence and attentive service. Within minutes of arriving, for our family weekend stay, the staff made us all feel so welcome. Their attention to detail and polite... More

Spent a single night at the Bailbrook House Hotel but wish it could have been longer! Had booked the room for my wife's birthday and after reading the reviews, thought this hotel would be a good choice....easy to find and park, just outside Bath so quiet and luxurious. It didn't disappoint on any count. We were upgraded to the Jane... More

My Husband and I got married at Bailbrook House in August 2014, we returned for a stay in the mansion house this week and its still just as impressive as then. The mansion house bedrooms are full of luxury, to lie in a bath and watch tv - what more could you ask for relaxation. The bed is of a... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night as part of a Birthday weekend away. We stayed in the new extension, the room was spacious and was quite luxurious, it would have been nice to experience the rooms in the older part of the hotel, but, there is a risk that these may have not been as comfortable. We did... More

It was a special occasion for us so we chose a deluxe main house room and were given the William Pitt. This was an enormous room and we loved the décor. The room had a proper coffee machine (Tchibo -similar to Nespresso) which was such a treat as were the shortbread and flapjacks. Lovely view over open countryside. The bathroom... More

I booked the dinner bed and breakfast package for the one night to celebrate my husbands birthday. From the moment you walk in the service is fantastic. The resturant staff couldn't have been better. The food was well presented and very tasty.

The hotel is a mixture of an old building with a newer one, but keeping the nice atmosphere and the beauty of this lovely place. The staff is just amazing, always with a smile in their faces and always ready to help you. The food is also great, with a highlight for the bar service at night. Realy cool.

Stayed here for 3 nights for my husbands birthday, we had originally booked an executive room and although the room was fine we decided to see if we could upgrade, Luisa on reception got Dan to show my husband the available rooms and we duly moved to John Wood, Luisa took us up to the room and said she would... stayed here for 2 nights, lovely hotel, lovely staff, Mark the Consierge especially helpful. One criticism is that there are a lot of foreign staff, as everywhere these days, and some have a very limited knowledge of Engish which is a problem.Rooms and grounds are lovely, try and stay in the Mansion house, more character than the new rooms.Restaurant food... Dear 111Gastrognome, Thank you for your kind words following your stay. I will take pleasure in passing on your comments to Mark who will be delighted. Many of our guests do leave their cars in our car park and walk into Bath after breakfast which not only works off a jolly good breakfast but gives the excuse to sit down... More

Handpicked hotels were kind enough to invite us to stay at this hotel which was absolutely lovely and the staff were very welcoming. The bedrooms were modern and in great condition, the bar very cosy, free Wi-Fi throughout, afternoon tea was delicious and breakfast offered plenty of choice for all including gluten and dairy free, very nice to see! We... More

Dear Frankee91,Thank you for sharing your kind feedback following your visit to Bath to see what your international guests are experiencing in our wonderful city. There is indeed a bus stop at the bottom of our drive and taxis take ten minutes, however many guests choose to walk ( with parking in many other Bath hotels being so limited) or... More
