Lovely room. Food let us down. Restaurant full and the alternative was bar food which involved undercooked chicken. People on next table also had bloody chicken. Breakfast was good though. Just shame about dinner

We were welcomed by friendly staff to this lovely hotel, and taken to our room in the new block. Our room was of a good size with a large very comfortable bed, with plenty of cupboards and wardrobe space. The bathroom was excellent, spotless and modern with good size walk in shower. One very unusual touch was a small bottle... More

We usually stay at the Bath Spa Hotel in Bath. This year we decided to opt for The Bailbrook House. This was an excellent decision. Although we were put in the extension, this was not a problem. The check in was superb the young man was efficient, friendly and took our cases to our room. He showed us around the... More

Our children bought us a night at this hotel for my husbands birthday, the main part of the building is grand and the staff are very nice on booking in. Our room was in the back of the main building in a modern block on the second floor no lift working which was not good for someone with mobility issue's,... More

Some positive aspects : Spacious, elegant period and other public rooms - kept immaculately clean, with bright areas for casual dining/drinking. Very helpful , friendly staff - some of the best we have come across anywhere on our travels Excellent bed room in modern block: had one of the best showers I have ever had, with large fluffy towels, and... We stayed here for one night, the bedroom was large with a large bed, a very powerful shower, the bedrooms were lovely. We ate in the bar, there was a nice menu that was reasonably priced. The bar lacked some atmosphere and drinks were expensive. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel is just on the outskirts... More

A fantastic experience at Bailbrook House. I stayed here from 1-3 May with my girlfriend while visiting Bath. The hotel and the grounds are lovely. I can not fault the superb service we received from every member of staff we encountered from start to finish. We were upgraded, for one night, to the junior suite. Both rooms we stayed in... More

Firstly I'll say that it is a lovely hotel in nice grounds with friendly staff. We had an executive room, which was spacious with a great bed. The centre of Bath is about 45 minutes walk away, which was fine for us, but might be a bit much for some. We ate in the conservatory and the food was ok,... More

A little disappointed to find we were put in the newer section however once we entered our room that all faded. It was a beautiful room that looked out on a welcoming courtyard. Big King size bed and modern bathroom. Check in was a little stuffy and the young man was a little hard to understand. Beautiful grounds a little... More
