The Henry is a nice, clean and comfortable hotel with a wonderful wide range for breakfast and great service. Located just up the road from the train station, makes it ideal for city breaks and if you don't want to drive, the bus station is also just down the road if you want to venture further afield. As I was... More

We really enjoyed our time in bath, such a beautiful place and the Christmas market was fantastic. The Henry was a lovely little town house and we enjoyed our stay. The room was just right for us and we loved the little touches such as the bow on the toilet paper ☺. Breakfast was very nice with a variety of... More

We've been coming to Bath, usually just before Christmas, for 20+ years now and this is without a doubt one of the nicest places we've stayed at in that time. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast, helpful owners, clean room, and beautiful Bath literally on your door step... 100 yards from the station, leave your car at home.. :o)

Dear Steve, Thank you very much for your lovely review, it is so nice to hear that you had a great time at the Henry. I could not agree with you more about leaving you car at home. Bath is a popular city so parking can be tricky, but who needs a car when a beautiful city center is literary... More

Stayed here for a special occasion and it was lovely, great service and an amazing breakfast. Location is amazing, you are staying in the heart of Bath. Pity about the parking situation but hardly the hotels fault.

Dear bmcd2014, Thank you very much for your lovely comments, you are right parking can be tricky, but I believe, being in a city center makes up for it. Hope to see you again in the future. All the best, Jacka More

Perfect location around corner from Manvers St car park and 2 minute walk from shops. Tonia and Guido very hospitable, friendly, chatty and helpful. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast by Guido. Only down side was that room 2 was a very compact double (we had been warned by Tonia over the phone) with a rather hard bed! This didn't detract from... More

Dear Marc, Thank you very much for your lovely review. I have just checked my records and I believe you have stayed in room no 6 on the top floor, which is a standard size double and it is smaller than other rooms in the house. We have addressed you comments and now there is a new softer mattress in... More

The Henry is just a short stroll from the train station, Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths and the main shopping area. Perfect location. Our room (No.2) was well decorated with all that you need for a short city break. The breakfast was lovely. A selection of cereals, fresh fruit, cakes, yogurts, Full English prepared to order and lashings of fresh... More

We were fortunate to stay at The Henry for 4 nights and are so glad we chose this B&B. The location was even better than I thought, as you are one block from shopping area and just a bit farther to the historic highlights. After reading others comments on the room sizes, I chose a premier double. The room was... More

Thank you for your review. We are very gad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We loved meeting you both! As you pointed out, our rooms could be considered small by American standards but this of course is the charm of a listed Georgian building. The Christmas market chalets are nearly all up now and Bath is feeling very... More

Fantastic and friendly guest house. Perfectly located for walking around and discovering beautiful Bath. Lovely rooms and great breakfasts cooked by Guido and served by Tonia (so sorry to learn they'll be leaving in December as without their warmth and friendliness, I'm not sure The Henry will be the same). Thanks Tonia and Guido for making a difficult weekend for... More

This B & B is located about a 10 minute walk from the train station and around the corner from Bath Abby and many attractions, tour buses, etc. Great breakfast. Hello Janet, We are gad that you enjoyed your stay and found us to be welcoming and helpful. We are sorry that you found the beds to be a little low and the rooms small. We stayed at the Henry for a girlie weekend away. It was perfect. The rooms were great, clean and had lots of lovely little touches (chocolates on the pillow, tea/ coffee and biscuits).
