I loved the location of this hostel. It was so easy to get around Bath from here, and not a killer walk from the train station with my backpack. Stayed for 2 nights. The key took some getting used to, as it took about 20 minutes to work the first time. Rooms were decent, what you expect in a dorm... more

I think it has the potential to be a good place to stay - decent rooms with sea views, good location etc - but unfortunately the experience was spoiled by the attitude of the staff. We stayed here for one night on a weekend trip to Bath in January. It was the only time we stayed in a hostel for our trip, so I cannot compare it to other hostels, but we chose it because of the price (25 pounds/person/night), as Bath accomodation can be quite expensive for what it is.
