I stayed here twice in October, in a 10-bed female dorm room. The dorm rooms were clean and fairly big. Toilets and showers were clean, as was the kitchen. The TV room was warm and cozy, and had a great atmosphere. The internet wasn't working when I first stayed; it was working the second time, but I didn't get a... more

Writing this from the hostel itself. I booked a bed before reading the reviews here and so came here expecting the worst. Fabulous location. A few minutes walk from the coach station. A few minutes walk to the centre of town. Run down but clean building overall. Friendly staff at the reception counter. Checked into their 8-person mixed dorm. Small... more

After staying with bath backpackers I would not recommend this backpackers to anyone. The room was not clean, and window that could not be locked, the staff were in no way helpful at all and did not seem to want to recommend anything for us to do or any must sees while we were staying there. We were advised to... more

After staying with bath backpackers I have to say the place was in average condition, room was not clean, and window that could not be locked. Following our holiday we went to check out and we couldn’t get our security deposit back due to some noisy people that were staying in the same dorm. We requested politely for the money... more

Lovely paintings on the walls. Mum & I were put into a big dorm & found that a smelly woman had been changing beds, so we informed the Manager & asked for some new sheets. He mentioned to us that he had had a chat with that lady before about her personal hygiene & kindly moved us upstairs to a... more

The dorm room was very small and the bath room some what dirty. The breakfast was thrown together but satisfactory. All tat aside there are kinda cool murals adorning the stairwells and they have attempted to make it an arty hangout even nicknaming their smoking room downstairs "Dungeon" (once you see it, you'll understand). This place is well located, merely... more

advetised price in their website said 13pound per night but when we got there they wanted 17pound and had no justification for the price difference. the beds were extremly squeaky in the rip room and the floor as well - so a pretty bad nights sleep. breakfast was ok i guess but nothing special. kitchen was pretty good. internet was... more

I agree with the other review on this site. I liked: The location (very close to city centre) The inclusive breakfast I disliked: The late night noise - both from inside the hostel (people running up and down stairs, whilst yelling their heads off at 4am) as well as street noise. The staff were also not at all friendly or... more

Bath Backpackers on first view seemed like such a fun and eccentric hostel. The website was full of photos of everyone dressed up in costumes and socializing in the "party dungeon" downstairs. My friend and I were looking forward to staying two nights while exploring Bath by day. We checked in at 9:30 and then left. When we came back... more
