The dorm room was very small and the bath room some what dirty. The breakfast was thrown together but satisfactory. All tat aside there are kinda cool murals adorning the stairwells and they have attempted to make it an arty hangout even nicknaming their smoking room downstairs "Dungeon" (once you see it, you'll understand). advetised price in their website said 13pound per night but when we got there they wanted 17pound and had no justification for the price difference. the beds were extremly squeaky in the rip room and the floor as well - so a pretty bad nights sleep. breakfast was ok i guess but nothing special. kitchen was pretty good. internet was... more

I agree with the other review on this site. I liked: The location (very close to city centre) The inclusive breakfast I disliked: The late night noise - both from inside the hostel (people running up and down stairs, whilst yelling their heads off at 4am) as well as street noise. Bath Backpackers on first view seemed like such a fun and eccentric hostel. The website was full of photos of everyone dressed up in costumes and socializing in the "party dungeon" downstairs.
