Absolutely perfect place, the location was amazing - totally rural setting and yet only a 10 minute drive from Bath. The cottage was everything you could possibly want, beautifully arranged with every facility you would need and the personal touches reallly made it - sherry and chocolates on arrival were perfect! View from the cottage is stunning. The whole place... More

if you dream of long walks in the countryside, of reading a book on a couch with a chimney (eletric one), of having a great dinner in a nice pub 20 mn walk from there, and of silent nights, this is the place to go! cherry on the cake: all these little birds in the morning. My husband and I... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Tucking Mill View. The cottage was spacious, peaceful and a lovely retreat away from the bustle of Bath, but still within easy walking distance. The Two Tunnels route is a pleasant 50 minute stroll into the centre of Bath, whilst the NT Bath Skyline walk is an alternative, easily accessible path too.... More

We recently stayed for three nights at Tucking Mill's 2 Hedgemead Court. We were delighted with this spacious, clean, fully equipped flat, minutes from the center of Bath. It has recently been fully and tastefully renovated. It has a great view across Hegemead Park towards the downtown. We were a ten minute walk from the Abby and central Bath. Anne... More

Found this property by chance whilst searching for somewhere to stay close to Bath. Wasn't disappointed. Fantastic location, great views and the accommodation was 5 star. Great cycling and walking virtually on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend to friends and will be the place we stay when we return to visit the area again in the future.

HI Linda Glad you appreciated the rural environment here. We are so lucky now with the new cycleway through the magical tunnels with music direct in to Bath. And it is just on our doorstep. Loads of walks too and also pubs at the end of them. Remember, if Tucking Mill View is booked, then Fishermen's Retreat and Brooks' view,... More

It's a very peaceful location down some narrow country lanes - slightly unnerving for a city dweller but our satnav took us exactly to the right spot. The countryside is very beautiful but for walking and cycling be warned that the hills are very steep! We thought we would be cycling into town but ended up at the Park and... More

HI there So pleased you enjoyed the cycling and walking. You obviously did not realise that Sustrans 24 goes past the door and that you can cycle in to Bath on the level (more or less) through the Two Tunnels Cycle way and also along the canal...both take about 45 mins if you are at my level of cycling and... Me and my boyfriend booked a two night trip over his birthday and New Year and we really enjoyed our stay at the Tucking Mill. The location was idyllic and the cottage was private and excellently kitted out for our stay. We were offered lots of advice by the owners via email before hand and whilst staying in the cottage... We have had a wonderful stay in the Annex Cottage. We adored the magnificent view and tranquil setting so close to Bath. We loved the personal touches and the extremely comfortable bed. A wonderful nights sleep. Three nights is not enough! We will be back for a longer stay. Next time we will bring our bikes so that we can... More
