A good place to stay, within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. Friendly staff. A bit of a slog up to the third floor bedrooms as there is no lift. But a very nice place. I would recommend it highly.

My daughter & I stayed for 2 night & had a wonderful time in Bath. The accommodation was spotlessly clean & the location is perfect as it is within walking distance of town yet on a very picturesque, quiet street. The breakfast menu caters to every taste & our room was spacious and bright. The stay was further enhanced by... More

Great choice for breakfast to suit all tastes from humble to exotic...excellent venue and very accessible - considering the cost of the room I felt an £8 parking supplement was excessive. staff great.

Thank you for the kind words it means a lot to the Edgar Townhouse Team. To clarify the parking is per stay and not per night. The charge is only £8 if you stay a week or one day and is still less the long stay car park. Hope to see you again! More

We had an excellent stay at the Edgar Townhouse. It is extremely well situated for exploring Bath yet is not noisy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in a lovely dining room with tablecloths, menu and waitress service. Despite being busy guests were all considerate and there was no late night disturbance from other rooms. The best... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights in this lovely old Georgian home close to the centre of Bath. Our room was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious. And the staff were so accommodating and helpful. A great place for both convenience and comfort.

A warm welcome at the door upon checking in the staff were very friendly and always helpful. Our room was on the top floor with a nice view out the back, there was a fair bit of stairs to climb but it's a townhouse so understandable. Rooms were kept clean and tidy the choice of breakfast was brilliant. The location... More

We went to Bath to celebrate 2 birthdays and stayed in the Edgar Townhouse. What a gem - great service from the reception to the dining room. Nothing was to much trouble and the receptionist was particularly helpful. He gave us some great tips on where to go and was very obliging. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. Breakfast... Small cozy hotel near all the main attractions in Bath. The staff provided some of the best service I've received at any of my recent hotel stays, they were spectacular. Hotel staff were well informed about the local attractions and were always willing to go above and beyond in order to help! I highly recommend the Edgar Townhouse, my wife... More

Just a very short stroll from the city centre this B and B is in a perfect location and has on road parking. Only downside, the shower head on the bath wasn't on the wall which did let the room down. Friendly helpful staff. Beware of early check out times.

Thank you for the kind review. The checkout time is usually 10am but a later check out can be arranged by prior arrangement with reception up until 1pm. Room 19 has been totally refurbished with a new bathroom containing a fixed shower head. We hope to see you again. Best regards the Edgar Townhouse reception team. More
