I'm here now and am very happy with the accomodations. Traveling alone and booked this last minute. Check in was easy and he carried my (heavy) bag for me all the way to my room on the 4th floor, and assisted me in quickly finding fun things to do. Place is lovely my view is beautiful, room is simple and... More

This hotel is amazing. Courteous staff. Lovely location. Fantastic breakfast included in room rate. Beautiful, comfortable room. We cannot praise it enough. Everyone works so hard here to accommodate. If you're coming to Bath, then this is the place to stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed here a few months ago, and enjoyed the central location and the ease to walk into the centre of town. Parking was really easy as we were given a permit for the road and there was plenty of space, cars seemed to come and go fairly frequently. Breakfast was substantial and kept us going throughout... Friendly staff, located just a short walk from city center and the train station. Lots of choices for breakfast , including the traditional English breakfast included in the room price. Our room was located in the basement and had a damp smell due to the washer and dryer next door. The rooms are plain but comfortable. The windows were difficult... More

Thank you for reviewing our breakfast so highly. We take great pride in creating a good breakfast and we are always adding new choices. We are sorry you found a damp smell; we think this emanated from the storm which resulted in some external smell coming in through the window after the extremely dry weather. The Edgar is a grade... My boyfriend and I stayed here in May on the first Bank Holiday weekend, was a really great weekend and the B&B was perfect for its location allowing us to get around easily. We had room No.10 which we knew would be small, it was the only one left as we did book a last minute break. It was fine,... More

We stayed at the Edgar Townhouse for the weekend and it was really nice. The hotel is within walking distance of the main city where you can easily walk to all the attractions. We stayed in Room 1 which is at the back of the hotel. We had a lovely view of the hills and Bath Priory in the distance.... More

The breakfast was really good. One of the best English, cooked breakfasts I ever had. absolutely not greasy. Very large variety and upon request they even bought kippers especially for us for the last morning. Very friendly waitresses. The lady on reception was also very friendly and helpful. The room on the fifth floor (under the roof) was a bit... More

We are sorry there was a leak on the bathroom radiator when you arrived. The radiators were upgraded as part of the new refurbishment and there has been some snagging with them which have now been rectified. We are happy you enjoyed our comprehensive breakfast menu and look forward to seeing you with your family again. For our newly renovated... More

The Edgar Townhouse is situated at most a 10 minute walk from the city's primary attractions (the cathedral and the baths). Located on Great Pulteney Street, you are still surrounded by Bath's gorgeous Georgian architecture, and just down the road from the Holburne Museum. The room was elegantly furnished, and the bathroom facilities were all modern and fully functional. The... More

I wasn't expecting much due to the low price but I was very shocked. The whole stay was faultless ! Great room with a good powerful shower , very clean . The... More
